Located near an interstate so it was a little loud. The guests above us walked like elephants. The hotel itself was great but the bed linens were too light. Would have liked something with more weight.

For one, the check in person, Friday the 24th evening, had her child with her. She was also very mechanical, little eye contact. Everything the hotel has to offer, she relayed with her head down, I guess preparing my keys. The shuttle needs to be more accommodating and the little tiny walkway to get in the shuttle, has overgrown bushes. Making the walkway extremely difficult for people with strollers and otherwise. Sheetrock patchwork exposed isn’t a great look. The elevator jumps or jolts as it stops at the floors, making you wonder if you’ll get trapped. For the money spent on the rooms you just expect better. You come to Asheville because you’re usually attending an event of some sort. I’ll be staying elsewhere with kinder, accommodating staff and shuttle service.

This property was described as being near and within walking distance of the River Arts district - it was not! While very clean, my room on the 2nd floor was quite noisy until the tenants in the room above me went to bed; the hotel definitely needs more work on soundproofing.

Liked the shuttle service to Downtown Asheville although the minibus was filthy. However, we did have to call twice for a pick up and it took 45 minutes without explanation. We wished we had just got a Uber. When we didn’t have change to tip the driver, he didn’t open the door for us!

The thing that stood out to me is the kind housekeeping and food service staff. Please give them all recognition for the great work. Came to Asheville to celebrate our 25 hear anniversary and I booked a place in Black Mountain and that didn’t work out. I had concerns about that place so we needed a safe/nice place at the last minute. I booked at this hotel via Expedia and everything was smooth and perfect. Clean hotel with everything we needed and it was nice to be able to walk to CVS and the Earth’s Fare grocery store. Thank you!

Hotel is located in a shopping center. Parking was also in the parking lot of the shopping center or in a lot across the street on the other side of the hotel. The room was decent. We had a King suite. Unfortunately the couch uncomfortable and stuck to bare skin. The sink faucet was loose but maintenance fixed it the next day. The pool was indoor and heated but only 4.5 feet deep. The location was good for downtown. The Brazilian steakhouse in the shopping center was delicious and within easy walking distance.

Very difficult to get to from the highway, but the bigger problem is parking. There is a lot next to it which belongs to a different company and they tow immediately. Supposedly that company told the hotel to notify the customers or put a sign in the hotel to warn people about it but nothing has been done. Imagine a mother coming with a small child at night in the dark, parking there, and then having no car in the morning because it was towed. Towing company said that it’s a normal occurrence a few times a week. Many of other places to stay in Asheville that are much better so if you can avoid this one, please do.

Nice sized rooms. Clean. But not especially quiet - you can hear noise from adjacent rooms and rooms above. Difficult road access to a busy interstate to go into Asheville downtown. Somewhat deceptive name - River Arts district - because that area is not immediately nearby. Very courteous staff. Adjacent shopping mall has a great market.

I love that you can walk to the CVS, and a beautiful grocery store . I was really disappointed that the hotel didn't offer the shuttle that it did last time we were there. I was also frustrated at check-in when they told me one of my rooms had been canceled from Expedia. I have to check my next statements to make sure I was not overcharged.

I was surprised to find the hotel in an area I would describe as light industrial, not at all artsy. Bonus, though, was to discover in the adjacent strip shopping center a wonderful grocery, Earth Fare, and excellent Italian restaurant, Gemelli.
