Unfortunately our experience at this hotel was nothing short of a disgrace, I’ve pictures of said mess/dirt if required, staff unfriendly and no car park facilities, breakfast was dripping with grease and hotel looks like it hasn’t been touched since the 80’s and as for the dirt and dust? Disgusting, at €175 a night I must admit we feel very short changed and will not be returning or recommending this hotel whatsoever

The hospitality and friendliness we received was second to none. We will return in more normal times to enjoy Arvagh and surrounding areas

We had a lovely stay! The bartender was exceptionally accommodating-he checked us in, brought us to our rooms, and invited us to dine in their restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the Guinness was good. People in town were friendly. We would definitely recommend this lovely hotel!

We spent just over two weeks in Ireland in May, 2019 and stayed at a number of great hotels, some twice the price of Breffni Arms, and it is easy to say none were better! In case you've not guessed, we loved the hotel, our hosts, Eamon and Philomena (owners who seemed to always be around no matter what time of day, or night it was,) the wonderful staff, the charming town, the picturesque countryside and all of the wonderful friendly people who live in and around Arvagh. If I was told I had only one trip left to Ireland, and could only stay at one hotel it would be no contest to book this hotel. We felt at home from the moment we booked in until we said farewell four days later. If you're looking for five star posh and polished brass there are options in the area. If though what you're looking for is a quiet, peaceful, stay in a delightful spot that exemplifies the best of Ireland, Breffni Arms is it.

I was impressed overall with the hotel and the staff were very friendly. My only problem is that my card was charged 118.80 for the room from hotels.com and then I had to pay again in cash when I arrived and the 118.80 has still not been refunded from hotels.com

The booking was a last minute booking, and I didn't arrive until after 23:00. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the Breakfast was excellent.
