„Die Unterkunft ist wirklich einzigartig und hat unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Wir hatten ein Zelt mit eigenem Bad, das sehr geräumig und toll eingerichtet war. Auch das Heizen mit dem Ofen hat sehr gut funktioniert und passte sehr gut zum Gesamterlebnis. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lediglich die Preise, etwa für das Essen vor Ort, könnten etwas moderater sein.“

„Very friendly and genuine staff, working hard. I was pleasantly surprised at the common areas and restaurant, almost like a full service restaurant, which I was not expecting. This is a tiny mountain top area, not really even a town, and the lodge seems to be presenting the best possible situation, for the limitations of the environment, and the recent difficult history of fires nearby. I would happily enjoy another stay!“

„We intended to use this lodge/cabin as a base for our adventures around Payson but because we loved it so much we ended up doing most of our activities here. We loved everything about this lodge. The owner was very accommodating and allowed us to put up a tent in the back yard for the kids to stay in. Would definitely stay here again.“
