„Overall this property is beautiful during the day and has the potential for some amazing trips! Definitely would plan more than a 2 night stay to make it worth while, was shocked at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils. „We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Plenty of room for our family (us parents and our three teenagers) to spread out, and we had everything we needed to make our own meals in the kitchen. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our tea and watching the world wake up! Excellent home base for white water rafting in the area - would stay here again.“

„The property was located in a peaceful wooded area. We enjoyed all the natural beauty surrounding us as we looked out the many windows downstairs. The house was roomy, comfortable, and well equipped, including lobster pots for us to have a proper Maine experience. „It was a quiet, clean and cosy apartment. It was convenient to the shops and restaurants of the town. We enjoyed hiking at Lily Bay State Park and on Mt Kineo. We had a wonderful day on the water with a tour of Moosehead on the Kate. Our one suggestion would be a small step stool for shorter people. “

„Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. “

„A group of us go snowmobiling every year and we decided to go Moosehead Lake this year. Home was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Beds were super comfortable. Trail located right behind the house after short ride through woods. Parking was more than enough for trucks and trailers. Would definitely go back. Host was extremely easy to reach with any questions. Host even contacted us when my husband left his wedding band behind. “

„The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). Overall a great stay! The fire pit and river views were lovely. “
