Gasthäuser in Maine

„I arrived earlier than check-in and called to ask if we could leave our bags at the Inn before check-in so that we could walk around the town. The staff member who answered the phone scoffed and repeated the check-in time to me. There was no visible staff at the Inn--they are based at the sister institution across the road. Likewise, breakfast was at that Inn diagonally across the road which does not sound like much of an inconvenience but the fact it was raining made it a mild negative ...

„My room was very cozy and well equipped. The breakfast on Sunday was marvellous! Thank you to Elizabeth and Mike for four true days of vacation in their Freedom House! One point maybe worth mentioning: the bed was quite soft. But this is a matter of personal preferences.“

„We had a really nice stay at the Grasshopper. It's centrally located on Main street in Qgunquit, and couldn't be nicer. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the whole property. We enjoyed the included breakfast each morning, the all day coffee bar, and the free bottles of water in the room fridge. „Schönes, altes Haus mit tollem Garten. Sehr netter Inhaber. Kleines, aber liebevolles Frühstück.“

„The Inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was airy and bright. Comfortable bed and I appreciated having a private balcony. However, the tv was difficult to use and they need better bathroom amenities. The PCK restaurant had a very good breakfast! Overall, quite charming and an excellent location.“

„Die Lage des Central House ist wirklich zentral - der Name hält, was er verspricht. Das historische Gebäude mit der schönen Veranda ist hübsch im angemessen historischen Stil eingerichtet. Leider lag unser sehr(!) kleines Zimmer im Dachgeschoss, was die Freude ziemlich gemindert hat. Der Service beschränkt sich auf eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Kühlschrank zur gemeinsamen Nutzung - für ein B&B aber vertretbar.“

„Friendly and helpful owners, delicious breakfast, nice and clean room“

„This property has ZERO communication! Not even a note on the door. They blame Expedia but many properties message me through Expedia. This property should be listed as a hostel! They have 1 bathroom for multiple people; which is ok(it was very clean); but we had to walk across the house (3 rooms) to get to the bathroom. Not too fun for 3AM bathroom trips!“
