They provided a shuttle service to and from the alpine station, which is great, as the walking is not was a realistic option as from what I could tell, there was no walkable path to and from the hotel from the station.
During my stay, there was not much around the hotel, so we were mostly confined to within the hotel during our stay.
Our room was for 4 people and was fairly large. Our room did not have beds but futons instead, ...

„Really old school place, we had it to our selves for our three nights. The breakfast is worth it. The Onsen is fairly dated and there are some places that would require removing the cobwebs.“
„The resort was first class. We loved the Onsen which they had both private and public. They had no restrictions on Tattoos. The breakfast was great and we saved a lot of money on dinners since they had free wine, soups, miso, udon, etc every afternoon. “
„Check out was smooth and good. I was able to check out early and was given a refund with a small cancelation feel. I mistakenly reserved a smoking room which was my mistake but I was unable to change the room due to no vacancies. Amenities were very good and the room was comfortable for the price. It was conveniently located and near the main station.

„A beautiful tucked away spot in Hakuba! The surrounding forest was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. About 15min walk to Goryu or they can take you in the shuttle. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated for, also a lovely spot focusing around keeping your dogs happy and taken care of. Spacious cabin feel and a decent restaurant with some nice options :) I would recommend this to anyone visiting in the winter or summer“
