„A very new hotel 3min from Matsumoto Station. Rooms are quite big for Japanese standards (normal European hotel room size) everything is clean and new. Very conveniently located pretty much next to the train station. You can even walk there with big suitcases in 3min.“

The only thing I didn't check properly was to book breakfast and dinner. In the middle of nowhere it is impossible to buy food out of season. So we had to order breakfast and dinner which cost the same as two nights in this hotel. Maybe it was a little naive but I whished that expedia or the hotel would inform us about the missing of a supermarket or ...

„Eine Übernachtung, alleinreisend. Check-In sehr nett, Zimmer sehr groß, Bett bequem, Bad sauber und tolle Lage. Nahe zur Burg, Supermärkten und vielen, vielen Restaurants. Eigentlich sollte es nur ein Stoppover über Nacht sein, aber dann gab es so viel in der Nähe des Hotels zu sehen und erkunden, dass mehr unterwegs war als im Hotel. Habe mich auch Abends alleine sehr wohl gefühlt.“

We opted for the breakfast which was excellent. Highly recommend if you want a taste of traditional Japan. Matsumoto castle was beautiful and we happened to hit a day when there was a local beer festival.“
