„Waren zum Glück nur für 1 Nacht dort. Empfang war noch recht freundlich. Zimmer abgewohnt und nicht sehr sauber. Zimmer roch extrem nach Rauch und Moder, trotz gekauftem Raumspray kaum erträglich. Frühstück unterer Durchschnitt, alles schmuddelig und klebrig. Swimmingpool auch nicht sauber/Dusche funktionierte nicht. Getränkespender moosbewachsen.“

„Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben für zwei Tage ein preiswertes Hotel gesucht. Hierfür war das Hotel super geeignet. Preis Leistung ware in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war ein wenig spartanisch aber ansonsten würde ich in dieses Hotel immer wieder hingehen. Auch meine Familie war mit dem Hotel zufrieden.“

„I stayed here in lieu of a hotel room in Salisbury for a work trip and it was worth the drive, only about 20 minutes from Salisbury. Heidi is extremely hospitable, her breakfast is excellent, including authentic English tea. It was very quiet, air conditioning worked amazingly well considering this is an old home, c 1800’s. „The house was perfect for a quiet, long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Smith Island is a unique get-away with a small town charm and welcoming residents who made us feel like home. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again.
