„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „This property was exactly as described! Everything went smoothly from unloading and checking in, to packing up and leaving. The only helpful tip I have is to make note of the password before arrival, as there is no cell service without it. Which was perfectly good either way for us.We had excellent weather and wanted to get away solely for the purpose of spending some quiet time to paint rocks in honor of my special needs daughter that had recently passed away. „We loved the cabin, it’s beautiful and comfortable, has a lovely view and is far enough away from neighbors. The pulley system for the loft entertained my kids for hours. The only thing I didn’t love was the guest bathroom at the HQ, it’s not pretty like the cabin is, but I did appreciate the hot shower.“
