„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „Our entire family loved this place! In fact, our two kids - 8 and 12 - were playing in the river every waking minute we were there. Super clean, including bathrooms, and everything you need. Even firewood! Close drive to anything you want to do in the Gorge. We loved not having to pack, setup and tear down our tents on this trip. Will definitely stay again and probably bring a group of friends to stay as well next time! “

„This secluded “holler” of Kentucky was so peaceful and fun! We had everything we needed, beds were comfy and hot water for showers. Loved the door and ‘modern’ lock and the fire pit! We met the owner and spent two occasions talking about the history of the cabin and local area. Charming! Thanks to the host! We truly enjoyed our stay!“

„Impeccable place! Perfect for a small family. It was far into the woods, which we wanted. Our little guy really enjoyed the hot tub.You can't see the neighboring house, but the people occupying it were very audible. Not a dealbreaker-- just something to be aware of.“

„We loved the cabin, it’s beautiful and comfortable, has a lovely view and is far enough away from neighbors. The pulley system for the loft entertained my kids for hours. The only thing I didn’t love was the guest bathroom at the HQ, it’s not pretty like the cabin is, but I did appreciate the hot shower.“
