„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „Impeccable place! Perfect for a small family. It was far into the woods, which we wanted. Our little guy really enjoyed the hot tub.You can't see the neighboring house, but the people occupying it were very audible. Not a dealbreaker-- just something to be aware of.“

„This cottage was such a great place to come back to after a long day of hiking and exploring Red River Gorge. Super cute in & outside with a beautiful landscape. We also had visits from a local cat every morning and night and he was so extremely sweet and made the trip all the more better.“
