„The room was nicely appointed and the hot bath fabulous. I wish they had a pool“

„Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, only issue was the bathroom was so small you couldn’t barely open the door if you were standing between the toilet and the door.“

„When first arriving no one behind the front desk. That continued to be the case during our stay. Even ringing the bell did not bring them forward. The pool was advertised as indoor but unheated. What good is a pool if it is unheated this time of year? There were stains on the bed sheet, looks like blood. Very meager breakfast. Parking was adequate. Air conditioner worked. We could not use the bathtub, as the paint was peeling from the bathtub. Evidently they had repainted it. It was nasty.“

„Super clean. Comfy beds. Excellent hot water and pressure.“

„It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Record player was a nice touch. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. We will most definitely stay there again .“

„Really great spot, great use of space. Cozy. A lot little extras made our time even better.“

„The house is perfect for a secluded getaway. Our group had a great time. We spent most of our time outside in the pool and hot tub. The host, Jessica, made communication easy also.“

„Eigentlich gibt es nichts zu meckern. Das Motel ist zwar nicht brandneu und wirkte recht verlassen. Aber das Zimmer war ok, das Personal nett, der Pool geheizt und das "continental breakfast" eben genauso, wie man es kennt.“

„The house was very clean and comfortable. Easy in and out to places we wanted to visit. Host was very easy to communicate with and we were even able to extend our stay one extra day without any issues. We would definitely recommend this house. You won't be disappointed.“

„Adorable little cabin! Quiet and peaceful lake, no loud party barges or music blaring...We came for the quilt show in Paducah and we ate at Paducah, Metropolis, and Brookport, all were a quick drive. We would definitely stay again if we come back to the quilt show. “

„Absolutely loved the place & location. Very quite and relaxing. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend for couples looking for peace & quiet time away.“

„Excellent stay in this luxe apartment. Thoughtful details and exemplary attention from the host made this visit relaxing and pampered. When a small issue with the thermostat popped up, the host remedied it before we even had to ask. Top notch attention! Close to everything you could possibly want to do in Metropolis. Quiet and comfortable.“

„First and foremost... The host is absolutely wonderful! Contacted me before we drove down, to make sure we had everything we needed, and made sure if we needed anything she was available. The house was amazing! The layout was humongous kitchen, with a dining room attachment area, 2 huge bedrooms, two full baths and beautiful deck that overlook the lake, and kayaks you can use if you wanted to, in the lake. The area that we were at does not have good cell phone reception, the road we drove in on ...

„We were looking for a quiet & private getaway. The decks, fire pit & BBQ grill all were great. The Kayaks added to the enjoyment. We may have been fortunate that there weren’t other travelers early in the week, but we felt it was our perfect get away. The fireplace was the only thing we weren’t able to figure out, but we will hope it works next time for chilly mornings. Thanks Malinda for keeping in touch as we needed. Only problems were no cell phone connection when we arrived & had a ...

„The house was nice, clean and spacious. If I had any questions the host responded in a timely manner. It is not too far from Shawnee National Park and trails and Paduka, Ky.“

„Excellent as always! Love this home.“
