Mit der Familie gereist
31. Jan. 2026
The lady that checked us in at the front desk was extremely kind and welcoming. She asked us if we were hungry because they were still serving dinner for just a little longer and urged us to help ourselves before they put it all away. I walked back to the dining area grabbed a plate and messaged my son who was waiting in the car to come in and dish up as well, while my husband finished our check in. Before my son even made it in the door, an older lady came out of the kitchen pushing a cart and glared at me. Then proceeded to quickly start pulling all of the food off the buffet. A younger girl came out of the kitchen and asked how she could help and the older lady barked at her to “just start taking things down!” There were two other people dishing up plates as well. I had a few things on my plate and realized nobody else was getting any more food which there was an abundant amount of left on the buffet. The lady glared at me once more and I left the buffet area, handed my plate to my son who had just walked in and told him to go ahead and eat. I have never been treated so rudely by someone in the business of hospitality. I will reiterate though, that the kind woman who checked us in is precisely who you want at the face of your hotel, as she is literally the definition of hospitality.
