The location is great for tourists, but lousy if you're in Nyeri for business as it's a ways out of town. The little villas are quaint, but it would still be nice to have a tv and internet. Meals are good, but repetitive if you're there for more than a couple nights.“

„Not even a middle class hotel, low 1star experience. No air con, dirty rooms and over charge for driver to pick up at the airport and to drive you to dinner. Dinner at an expensive resort was less than what the driver charged total of 35 USD plus additional SHK 2000 for trip of one hour, to a restaurant that he chose, which was situated only 15 min from the very bad hotel. Not nice breakast not on time! I had to cook part of it myself, dirty & smelly restaurant & kitchen a disgrace!“

„The best choice in Nairobi away from unpersonal chain hotels. At Acacia we really felt home. The rooms are decorated with a lot of attention to the detail. The matress is amazing (by far the best we had on our trip!). And the best thing is: you are doing something good for the people. The proceeds are used in the New Hope projects in the Kibera neighbourhood. Thanks especially to the lovely and welcoming staff! We will be back :)“

„Aden Bay is a perfect place for those who want to party all night long. African beats POUND until 3am daily, and then from 0300-0500 the street youth of Nairobi are yelling and laughing and then yelling some more and then at 6am church music starts blaring both live and from loudspeakers. It is totally impossible to sleep. Other than that it is quite fine.“

"WLAN gibt es nur um die Rezeption! In der heutigen Zeit kaum mehr vertretbar. Das Essen ist mittelmässig und sehr schnell alle, es gibt kein grosses Angebot. Der Empfang am ersten Tag war sehr ernüchternd, die Angestellte eher unfreunndlich und nicht hilfsbereit. Sie fand anfänglich auch die Buchung nicht und sprach eher abschätzig. (rassistische Äusserungen)"
