The reason I'm only giving it an overall rating of 4, is because: 1 - There's no bathtub (yes, the description clearly states shower only - but come on! e/o loves a bath after a tiring day..) 2 - There is a raised stone slab on the floor where the fireplace should be. „We had a wonderful stay. The location was very private, and the views were amazing. The trails on site were a plus. Loved the little store down the road where the locals sold local meats, jams, meats and produce. A perfect week in the catskill wilderness! “

„The house and area are gorgeous. We had a fantastic stay and no significant issues. We wish there had been some fans and some better supplies in the kitchen (example: we were told there was a blender, but all that was there was a broken food processor), but those were our only issues. The beds were comfy, everything was in working order otherwise, and the deck was absolutely awesome with the hot tub and the view. Cheers!“

„We only stayed one night at the Starlite Motel. This motel is not like other places we have stayed. It was quiet and it had character. We really liked that our room included a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The backyard area was great for us to relax with friends and play games. „Very nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming . Lovely breakfast baskets available (additional charge). Only improvement would be cleaning of room . We got a message while out asking if we would like the room cleaned that day with a circa 3 hour window that cleaners were available . We asked for it to be and unfortunately it wasn’t when we returned. Put it down to message system delays but think better system needed than this. Definately worth visiting though . “

„Wir wurden bei unserer Anreise vom Inhaber Brendan sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Das Haus ist von 1901, ist frisch renoviert und wird von Brendan und seinem Mann immer noch weiter renoviert. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet. Wir haben uns in unserem Zimmer sehr wohl gefühlt, da es sehr gemütlich war.
