We did walk the "direct beach access" path to discover it takes you over to another street, then you walk down about a block to get to the beach access. It was fairly close but the word direct was misleading. The use of the kitchen and laundry was a plus. The pool wasn't open for the season but it looked clean and had a nice sitting area around it. „We absolutely loved the hot tub on the second story back porch. It faced the yard, not the canal. The place was cozy for two people but no more. There is an induction plate to cook on, so we brought our non-stick induction pan to make life easy. We loved hanging in the hammock in the porch area. We also enjoyed setting on the bench overlooking the canal. Take the exit by the fire station to find the place easily. The flashing tower is a great landmark close to the accommodation. „This place was perfect for me and my kids! The location is great! Close to the beach and other fun! Beds are comfy and the host is kind and gave great suggestions. Kitchen had everything we needed. We also loved having parking and access to a washer and dryer!“

Great views from the balcony and large windows of the waterway and the boats and ships passing through. The room was nearly perfect for two guests, staying two nights.
