We preferred the lights off on the porch to eliminate so many bugs that were drawn to them. The purpose for our trip was to visit and hike trails at Clifty Falls State Park. Madison is a nice little town but most everything closes pretty early so plan accordingly. All in all we are very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this ...
