„The place is great. Clean, modern, with great amenities inside and outside. The beds were comfortable and the place has a huge yard, a fire pit, a nice deck, and an easy path to the water. Emporium is charming and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. I'll stay again if my work or life brings me back.“

„Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. „This is what I call getting away. My family had a great week from early morning hot tub soaks to family feuds over playing Uno and Monopoly! We only got one clear night in the star gazing field and the moon was a bit to bright but it was still beautiful. The property is clean and well stocked with just about everything you could need! We will definitely be back!“

„My family loves Eagles Nest. No roller coasters, Giant Disney lines, no crowded beaches. Just my husband and I and any other family member that is available. Then it's fishing and inner tubing in the crik, play games around the large table . Every evening we look for elk, and they always show The house is clean, air conditioned, 2 baths and large bedrooms . I hope it is a family tradition that never ends. “

„Emporium is an old town so we knew ahead of time the home was going to be older. I think they did a nice job bringing it up to date considering its age. Beds were fairly comfortable. The detergent used for the comforter was a bit strong. Fridge's water/ice machine didn't seem to work but there was fresh water in the fridge for us guests. „The house was great, even in 90 degree weather with no a/c, fans blowing in the cooler air from the stream kept the house very comfortable. You can see plenty of stars from the property, so we were able to sit by the fire and stargaze intead if freezing our toes off at cherry springs. The mattresses were fantastic, which is not always the case in vacation rentals. The only feedback I have is the water softener maybe? „The house and property were beautiful. Just keep in mind that to get to it you have numerous miles of dirt and gravel roads that are not well maintained. Your vehicle will be extremely dirty if you drive much at all on them. Also gps does not work correctly and can get you lost on extremely bad roads. “
