„Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. „This was a great location for all we planned on seeing in this section of Pennsylvania. The home was very clean and neat; roomy and nice design; had everything you would need to prepare meals; quiet and peaceful backyard. We saw an Eagle, a Blue Heron and a Kingfisher at the creek. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely visit again if we are back in the PA Wilds.“

The kitchen was well supplied.The outside space was enjoyed by all of us especially the fire pit.We would see doe and buck emerging from the tree line, nightly. Today we saw a coyote and our sons saw bear scat near the fishing hole, today.Also, there is a grocery store nearby.“
