„All around great experience“

„The rooms were not very clean and I was terrified of the possibility of bed bugs. There was evidence of some kind of bug activity thought I can’t confirm that’s what it was. Breakfast is not provided which I didn’t realize when I booked the room. Mostly I was a bit uncomfortable with the general cleanliness of the room and felt it was overpriced for what was offered.“

„Great place!“

„The hotel was clean and the property is well maintained. The ladies providing service at breakfast were kind and lovely! The front desk check in wasn’t quite as friendly as I would prefer but was polite. The pool was great for my kids but the towels provided at the pool are very very small. The tv had some issues and the remote control was not very user friendly. Overall it was a great stay and I would go back to stay again. Breakfast was a highlight. Great food and friendly people staffing it.“

„Love Whiskey Mansion. Beautiful old mansion!! Staff were excellent!! Breakfast delicious!! The woodwork in the house was so beautiful!! Will be back!! A real gem in St Joseph!!“

„What a lovely B&B. Very unique 19th century structure that was a blast to explore. The room made us feel like we were staying in a mansion.“

„Preis- Leistungsverhältnis wäre soweit in Ordnung, wenn nicht auf einmal nach ca 30 Sekunden das Duschwasser ausgeblieben wäre. Manager war nicht erreichbar. Tip der Rezeption, dies über Expedia zu melden. Management hätte bestimmt eine Gutschrift gegeben. Kein Teppichboden war prima. Personal freundlich. “

„It was fine. Just outdated“

„Great location, clean, kitchen stove needs an exhaust fan.“

„Not for us. “Vintage” means old & creaky, narrow doorways and old bathroom fixtures. Not romantic as was expected from reviewers. “Do it yourself breakfast” was unexpected and why would we want to cook while on vacation and in a strange kitchen? Then there was no OJ, no fresh muffins or pastries, only prepackaged foods. The only decaf coffee was instant and no plain coffeemate. Only whole milk. We went to Perkins! Across the street were barking dogs and other guests (a family) talked ...

„Had a hiccup when first checking in BUT the owner was quick with replies and taking care of issue. Place is exactly as described. Quiet, off beaten path, river view house. Very nice sunsets. This was the perfect rental for me, I like an off the beaten path place - yet still a 10-15 min max drive to all needs. Beds were comfy, water was hot, and view was excellent. Would suggest to bring slippers for inside house. If a light sleeper bring earplugs. Train comes by quite a bit. Sometimes not ...

„We were a group of 4 women on a girl's trip and this was the perfect location. We were able to do arts & Crafts outside enjoying the sounds of nature. A Bald Eagle came and visited us a couple times a day. It was perfect size for the 4 of us. We enjoyed cooking dinner inside each night and doing a fire bowl and smores at night. The host. Anthony, is one of the best hosts Ive stayed with. Always a good quick line of communication and always very clean accommodations. We would definitely stay ...

„Great old style place. The furnishings and decorations are well done , they perfectly fit the style. It’s a neat snapshot of history with the creaky floors and old school fixtures, and it would definitely be a place we would stay again.“

„It was clean. The beds were comfortable and having a view of the river was great.“

„Thankyou so much! This is such a cute peaceful cabin! Definitely would stay again! It has everything you b would need! So nice sitting on the patio drinking coffee! Thankyou b so much!“
