We were a little weirded out. No check in the restaurant/building in the front were in shambles. I called the number key was just left in the door. „Perfekte Lage im Zentrum von Middlebury. Große, aber sehr einfache Zimmer, teilweise in Motel-ähnlichem Nebenhaus. Frühstück gibt es erst ab 8:00. Zimmer war zur angegebenen Check-in Zeit noch nicht fertig. “

„Die historische Anlage ist beeindruckend auch wenn an den Häusern der Zahn der Zeit nagt. Es gibt dort zwei Restaurants.Am Anreiseabend 20:00 Uhr wollten wir noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Das Essen war sehr schlecht, was möglicherweise an der späten Uhrzeit lag.“

„The property was beautiful and immaculate. Our room was excellent. The only challenge we had was figuring out how to safely get into and out of the high tub to take a shower. The breakfasts that were served were generous and delicious. Having coffee outside my room 24/7 was handy. We enjoyed sitting out front on the deck reading. The only thing that would prevent me from coming back is that there doesn’t appear to be much to do in the area. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this inn.“

„The yurt was private and I appreciated that there were supplies & wood inside to start a fire on the cold morning. Communication earlier would have helped assure we were heading up the correct driveway at night. I love the idea of yurt rentals so I add comments with reservation. It would be great to add another nonskid strip near the top of the walkway (it was slippery after rain) and to repair the lock on the second door. Pictures online are very cute, but not updated. We also enjoyed the outstanding quality of the woodwork and the love to every detail. This is an absolute recommendation for a stay in Vermont.“
