"We liked the view from our room to the city centre of Kandy. Beds were really cozy and the bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and tried to help us the whole stay long. Nevertheless I need to say that the room was poorly soundproofed. We were able to hear the sound of the mosque for praying a couple of times per day (starting 5 am in the morning!). I know this is a cultural thing, but the room could still be more isolated. Additionally the furnishing was quite old and the wallpaper came off. An extra problem was that directly on the first day someone burst into the room without knocking. This is not acceptable at all! "

"Wir hatten die Junior Suite gebucht inkl Jacuzzi. Das Bad war leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das Jacuzzi unhygienisch und nicht benutzbar. Das Hotel ist generell schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und aus der Zeit gekommen."

"Très jolie construction au milieu des collines de thé. Hotel avec cachet. Niveau 4 étoiles. La chambre est un peu vieillote et le matelas pas très bon. Douche difficile d accès. Pas bien insonorisé. Le buffet est bon et une mention spéciale pour les fruits frais au petit déjeuner. Hôtel un peu cher par rapport à la qualité, mais on paie le bâtiment historique, et la vue."
