sehr enttäuschend
Der Aufenthalt war sehr enttäuschend. Nicht sauber, der Wasserkocher voll verkalkt. Das kleine Sofa so unbequem. Bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht, reisten auch früher ab.

Thank you Manuala for you review . We take your review very seriously . Firstly we do have hard water as we live under Croagh Patrick mountain and we supply a water filter for that very reason . We are getting a new water supply form the town but it has not been installed as yet but they are working on it . Also you only mentioned that you had back problems after check in . The couch is new and firm and we did offer some extra support , but you did not respond . The apartment is cleaned by our housekeeper and we have 5 x reviews mostly and our guests are very happy . We are sorry of course that the apartment did not suit your needs .

Wonderful experience
We had an amazing stay. The apartment is very cosy and ideal for a couple. The view is stunning (if not spoiled by weather). Hilary is a wonderful host, very welcoming and making sure you have a great stay. Her ideas for local excursions off the beaten track were very useful. Highly recommended!

Perfekte Lage, gemütliches Apartment
Zwischen dem heiligen Berg Croag Patrick und einer Art Lagune ist das Haus extrem ruhig gelegen. In 5 Min ist man an einer Landzunge, die man je nach Ebbe oder Flut ganz unterschiedlich wahrnehmen kann. Wir hatten einen spektakulären Regenbogen! Außer einem gelegentlichen Blöken der Schafe herrscht wunderbare Ruhe rund ums Haus. Ausstattung und Einrichtung sind sehr geschmackvoll. Hilary ist eine äußerst nette und hilfreiche, dabei unaufdringliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Listening to Silence
Everything about the apartment was as good as we had hoped. We were very comfortable for our week of residence. After a friendly welcome on arrival, we did not see or hear another human at the property for the whole week. The location, with the beautiful mountain at the front (when not too cloudy) and a five minute walk to the beach from the door, cannot be beaten. Best of all was the sound of silence (punctuated only by the occasional sheep).

A great choice of accommodation in a terrific location. The view of Croagh Patrick is stunning. The apartment has everything you need. A bit tight in the kitchen in terms of bench space but totally workable. Loved it.

Nice place for 2 to stay and visit Westport area Stayed a week, convenient to town and areas nearby Great to visit Achill Island loved traveling up Wild Atlantic Way Short walk, to beach. Host was available but unobtrusive. Showed unit and offered advice to area. No problems with unit and stay

cosy nest at Bertra
A wonderful host(ess) and a cosy nest of a place with inspired art work and verdant garden giving onto a magnificent view of the 'Reek' and within close walking distance of the scenic Betra Strand. Westport close enough for visiting friends and shopping, but this nest is far enough away to provide dark skies and a totally silent night. Comfortable bed and small but handy kitchen. If you are fit go on and climb the mountain you can climb it from here. But if temptation prevails, relax on the sunny patio deck and sample whatever you cook or imbibe whilst drinking in the fabulously clear air.

Beautiful location
Charming apartment with all the amenities. Our 5 days were spent exploring the beautiful area, Westport, Achill Island, the Knock Shrine and the Dooluogh Valley. Hilary is charming and accommodating and kept us stocked with firewood and peat for the fireplace. We definitely recommend!!

A wonderful stay!
We spent one of the best holidays ever here. Delightful spacious accommodation, welcoming and aesthetic. Hilary and Felix are excellent hosts, non interfering but always available if needed. We can't rate this too highly.

Exceeded Expectations
Every aspect of our our experience exceeded expectations. Unit was exactly as expected … very comfortable clean and quiet. Very easy and pleasant check-in process after a long flight to, and drive from, Dublin. Host Hilary was also very helpful in recommending special places to see and dine. This was the best stop of all 5 that we made on this visit to Ireland. (All 5 were great, Thornhill was the best.) We look forward to returning and staying longer, Many thanks Hilary!

What a beautiful place. Waking up to the view of Croagh Patrick was priceless!! Everything we needed was there and Hilary provided us with options for dinner, pubs and sightseeing. She is great. Loved the place!!

Amazing view, in a beautifully decorated condo.
My wife and I would have been happy to stay 'near' Croagh Patrick, but this place has a view and more, it's only a 5 minute drive from the mountain access. Hilary was delightful, she met us personally to give us our keys, and welcome us to Ireland, and both her hand her husband have done an excellent job of decorating the place with their art. Also, and I can not stress this enough, the bathroom has heated floors. We came for St. Patrick's day at the cusp of spring, so it made for a cozy surprise for two chilly Texans abroad. Can not wait to visit again in the future!
