„Das "The Bridge Inn" ist eindeutig empfehlenswert. Ich habe für den Zustand nur eine mittlere Bewertungen gegeben da die Aussenterasse mit ein paar Blumen ganz schnell verschönert werden könnte. Ansonsten hat das Inn alles was wir davon erwarten.“

„I was very happy with my room! It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and l could hear the people next door talking as if they were in the same room, so even though the bed/bedding was very clean and comfortable l did not get any sleep, l could even hear a conversation someone was having on a phone. The property is advertised as a B&B but they do not do breakfasts. I would definitely stay again if the price was reduced slightly to accommodate not ...

„We had a lovely weekend stay at this country pub with rooms. The owners are lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Its a dog friendly place, so for us, that was perfect. Our room (room 2) was on the ground floor and had a door leading out to the garden, great if you have a dog. The room was a good size and very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, tv and a hairdryer. The king sized bed was good and the bathroom was lovely. We ate dinner and breakfast here both days and the food ...

Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike for a small village it was busy on the Saturday night we stayed. Room was clean and comfortable though dated. The bed was a bit older than some but perfectly pleasant. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to do within a short drive and lots of walking on your doorstep. „We have had three pretty days at the Bassenthwaite Lake Side Lodge. Everything was successfully. We loved to sit outside on the terracce. It is such a quite, peacefull place. Two times we walked to the Pub "Sun in" in Bassenthwaite it is a halfe hour walk away.“
