Great place to stay while skiing at Granite Peak
The basement where we stayed was very nice and had plenty of space for 6 people. It can be a bit tricky to find the basement at first as you go through the house to get there but once we were in we had no problems. The house is also conveniently located between the Granite peak ski hill and the Sylvan park tubing hill which was great to be able to do both!

Cozy and comfortable!
The apartment was beautiful. I enjoyed the space and what was offered in the room. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and extras. Tara and Allen were very accommodating and down right wonderful people. I will be staying again the next time I’m in Wausau.

Awesome Spot
This place is so cozy you feel at home right away! The owners are real accommodating and very nice, the suite is decorated so cute and the entire vibe is pure comfort. The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay the best it can be, glad we found this little gem! Will definitely stay again when in the area. You gotta check it out!

Saturday night in Wausau
The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and hospitable. Nice location. I kinda wished that there was a bit more privacy but it all worked out. Because of our schedule we actually didn't spend much time there. I really appreciated the fact of the hosts allowing us to split the weekend in half so we can stay only Saturday night.

Nice travel break
The downstairs of the home was completely private. We did not see the owners but they were very responsive and kind in communications and we were even graciously allowed a bit of extra time to check out due to late arrival.

Like a Visit with Friends
As a frequent visitor to Wausau, Custom Rustic is now our go to accommodation for an extended stay. A very warm welcome and wonderful discovery of such a cozy and comfortable place to stay at a very reasonable rate compared to other Wausau offerings we have tried. Slept very well in a quiet peaceful space and bed. Usually find at least one thing to comment on to improve but not at Custom Rustic. You have to stay to fully appreciate what Tara and Allan provide to their guests.
