„If I could give more stars I would! This is a total experience. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They are so happy to share their piece of paradise with others. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! Walk down to the bridge and watch herons and beavers near the Whiteface River.“

„We had a wonderful stay. A charming little cabin for our family of 5 (4 year old slept on a mattress we brought). The highlight was kayaking at sunset and listening to the loons. I missed the detail about bringing our own bedsheets but Jay was so kind about it and brought us some extras he had. Would love to stay again! “

„Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. „Great place to stay. Snowmobiled for 2 days in the area. Great access to the trail. Great choice of trails including ATV which could be ridden when the main trails were beaten up due to warm weather. Great kitchen, stocked with everything. Lots of room for parking with trailers. „Our place was more than we expected, so many thoughtful little add-ons, it’s a beautiful lake and property. Our kids were camping near by at Bear Head State Park and got rained out. Jay learned of that and txt me to say they could stay in an extra space he had instead of their wet tent - which they did! Jay was so thoughtful and generous, we very much appreciated his gesture. Highly recommend Wilderness Wind and look forward to coming back. “

„The location is beyond words. Truly beautiful and relaxing. We loved bird watching including a daily visit by a chatty eagle. Absolutely amazing. We explored Crane lake and caught enough walleyes and bass for a fish dinner at the cabin. The eagle enjoyed the fish remains right off the end of the dock. I highly recommend Loon Landing.“

„Excellent location for fishing different lakes each day. Armstrong is a great Bass lake. The camp host - Jay was very accommodating and was knowledgeable of the fishing on the other lakes nearby.
