Motel Standard für die USA OK. Leider im Casino/Restaurant sehr starker Rauchgeruch. Nach kurzem Aufenthalt haben sämtliche Kleidungsstücke nach Rauch gerochen.das hat man schon sofort beim Tür öffnen gerochen. Nicht sehr angenehm

Sauber, sicher, gute Lage!
Für ein Motel 6 echt nicht übel! Saubere, neu renovierte Zimmer (das neue, moderne Motel 6 Design). Sehr bequemes Bett, sauberes Bad. Netter Empfang, ausreichend Parkplätze, nachts ruhig genug, wenn auch nicht vollkommen still. WLAN brauchbar. Wenige Minuten zu Fuss zum Strand mit Pier und ebenso kurze Wege nach downtown Ventura. Machte auch bei Dunkelheit einen sicheren Eindruck. Wenn man es günstig bekommt kann man hier bedenkenlos absteigen.

Zu teuer 140Euro pro Nacht. Ohne Frühstück, kein Fön im Zimmer ( kann man sich im Office leihen). Kein Duschbad vorhanden. Wasser zu kalt. Auch nach längerem Laufenlassen kein heißes Wasser. Gefahr von Legionellen.

Das Pacific Inn haben wir nur zur Durchreise genutzt. Für den Preis war es in Ordnung. Es war sehr groß und hatte ein KingSize Bett. Lediglich der Geruch am Anfang war ein wenig extrem nach Raumspray aber man hätte sich schnell daran gewöhnt. Frühstück war typisch amerikanisch mit Toast und Waffeln.

Übliches Motel - Gute Lage
Übliches Motel, für 70$/King/Nacht - hinsichtlich Ausstattung und Alter derselben wären z.Zt. gute 50$ von mir als angemessen empfunden worden. Die Lage ist gut für tagsüber an den Strand und abends Richtung Downtown - alles zu Fuß möglich. Die Lage zum Freeway/Hwy 101 ist bedenklich, ich hatte jedoch ein Zimmer zum Thompson Blvd. - Lärm wurde nicht empfunden. Fazit: Kein Motel für längere Aufenthalte und selbst bei kürzeren würde ich nun stattdessen diesem Motel ein "Ketten"-Motel vorziehen.

Naja, ein echtes Motel halt
Der Empfang war schon ein dolles Ding; durch eine Glasscheibe mit ein paar Löchern zum sprechen und einer Durchreiche haben wir eingecheckt. Das Personal war gar nicht freundlich. Das Motel liegt direkt am Highway und ist sehr einfach ausgestattet. Immerhin waren die Zimmer halbermassen sauber. Länger als 1 Nacht wäre ich nicht dort geblieben. Aber die Microbrewery in der Innenstadt ist zu empfehlen; jeden Mittwoch ist hier ein kostenloses Trivia für alle Gäste mit tollen Preisen.

Basic but clean and in a good location for shopping, dining and the beach. Downside is it was a bit chilly and we were told at checkin our rooms heat was broken. Had to ask for extra blankets. I’d stay here again if the heat works next time or I’d come later in the year when the weather is warmer. Overall nothing fancy but the price is fantastic.

This was a perfect stay. All we needed was a simple and clean place to sleep and this location was just that. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The only thing that was missing was a hair blower and iron. Other than that everything was great.

A better than average Motel 6 experience. The shower head in my room was damaged, but the maintenance guy showed up later in the afternoon to repair it. My only serious complaint would be the noise. The location is next to the highway, and the rooms are not well sound proofed, so expect a noisy stay.

it's a motel 6, so don't expect the Ritz! but location is great as it is between downtown and the beach, so you're able to walk to one or the other with ease!
