We shall make sure to talk with housekeeping, and ensure best practice procedure and policies. With regard to the restaurant and pool, the pool is not a private space. We do apologize if you felt that you were being watched by any restaurant patrons. Further, the breakfast can be eaten and enjoyed in multiple locations, such as, the breakfast area, pool patio, as well as your hotel room. Continuing, we only offer a continental breakfast, which is a fairly common industry standard. If this was not to your liking, we do genuinely apologize. Lastly, our hotel is a not a twenty four hour property, and our desk hours are prominently advertised on all of our correspondence and materials. In any case, thank you very much for your feedback. Dear Guest, We are sorry to see you did not enjoy your stay! We are a very small hotel and do not have staff for all hours, however there is an emergency contact number on the front desk during the hours that a front desk clerk is not on site.. The front desk hours are 7am-11pm which 16 hours out of a 24 hour day leaving 8 hours without a clerk, aside from 11pm-7am there is a hotel staff member on site and can assist if needed!

Dear Guest, We are so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay! The property is on the older side and you will be pleased to know we are in the midsts of upgrades.. We just finished putting new flooring in all of our rooms.. However with the cost of everything on the rise it is a bit discouraging trying to upgrade but we are doing it :) We are sorry to hear you were not pleased with the complimentary breakfast! We have a variety of foods to please everyone. Breads, Eggs, Fresh Fruits, home made cakes, Orange Juice, Fresh Coffee brewed daily, milk. Cereal ext. We are one of the few hotels that provide a complimentary breakfast to our guests, however if one shall not like the complimentary breakfast we do have a restaurant on site that is available for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Hopefully you enjoy your stay much more the next time you visit!

Our guests have the option to dine indoors or enjoy outdoor seating with picturesque views of the crashing surf and the pool. While we understand that preferences vary, we aim to provide a satisfying breakfast experience for all our guests. Seagulls are a protected migrating sea bird and we cannot harm them. This is not something that justifies a bad review nor checking out early on a 3-day reservation in our respectful opinion.Regarding the noise from neighboring rooms, we want to assure you that we take all guest concerns seriously. While we are not exclusively an adult-only hotel, we have limited rooms suitable for families, and the room adjacent to yours is not typically designated for families. However, we strive to accommodate all guests to the best of our ability, and the construction of our hotel ensures relatively soundproof accommodations. Nevertheless, we apologize for any disturbance you may have experienced during your stay.Regarding the condition of the property, it's true that the Cliff House is not a new establishment, but we take great pride in its upkeep and maintenance.
