We went for VRBO for the kitchen which is one of the biggest disappointments.
Admittingly, I have no clue what it cost to maintain a rental property in Vail, but this was an investment property getting as much $ out without putting too much in. Be prepared for a tight/steep staircase to the unit. The keyless entry did not work but given a maintenance key to come/go. The TVs were big but required using your own streaming service. Otherwise, no clue what you would watch. Kitchen had old frying pans, one lonely 10qt pot, and a single deep cast iron skillet for the oven. Most kitchenware looked like leftovers/unwanted items from the owners’ kitchen. There was a grill rusted out, the house held it upright, and no propane tank. Replace the poor thing! There was one pod for dishwasher, one small (hotel-size) soap for washing hands/bathing, and the toilet paper could be substitute for sandpaper. The mattresses in the bunkbeds were cheap where you could feel individual coils. If you go that cheap, at least put a foam topper over it. Important recommendations… please do not assume your guest will have access to a computer or use their phones for all info. It would help to post info about the house, where to park (map) extra vehicles, departing instructions, and possibly a city bus map/schedule. The website says extra vehicle(s) will be parked down the street but doesn’t say where. Closest public parking is .6 miles if slots are available. Positive... super clean place.
