We had an overall pleasant three-night stay.
We requested a quiet room and were given a room on the top (third) floor, which was very quiet and peaceful. Please note that the elevator only goes up to the second floor.
The room was clean and well equipped.
What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff. We especially enjoyed our conversations with Keith in the evening. He made us feel very welcome and even offered us hot water for tea in the evenings.
Breakfast items such as cereal ...

Hotel war übernachten und hat uns, obwohl lange im Voraus gebucht war, kein Zimmer gegeben.
Expedia hat mich nicht informiert und trotz Amruf im Servicecenter (?) wurde keine Alternative angeboten. Auf den zugesagten Rückruf warte ich immer noch, natürlich ist das jetzt zu spät,

A gem. Perfect location right at the start of the Cliff Walk. We had the Lark room: next to the main house, quiet and private, charming, comfortable bed, gas fireplace, partial sea view, big bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. Wine and snacks between 5 and 6 pm offered in the quaint lounge, small but great and delicious choice of self service buffet breakfast. The best place we stayed at in the US.
