Connie's Retreat is a beautifully restored early 1900's farm house, which is

an original Sears and Roebuck kit home. This charming cabin has accommodations

that blends warmth, beauty and a rich history. It offers modern touches

throughout the cabin while preserving the rustic charm of a wood burning stone

fireplace and the cabin's original structure.



To deliver a comfortable mountain's night rest, upstairs there is a bathroom

with a shower, as well as 2 bedrooms (bedroom 1 has 2 queen beds and bedroom 2

has a queen bed and a bunk bed with a twin on top and a double below). On the

main floor of this cabin, there is 1 bedroom with a king bed, a main bathroom

with a shower, your living and dining room combo with your open floor plan

kitchen. The fully stocked farm house kitchen, with all the pots , pans,

dishes, and more, is ready for you to cook up some good ole' country meals.

There is a washer and dryer located in a separate room off the back porch

which means you do not have to pack a lot of clothing (very handy for the

motorcycles looking to ride the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon)!!



You can snuggle up in front of the wood burning fireplce or take a blanket to

the front porch and view New HWY 68 where there are motorcycles and multiple

car clubs enjoying their drive in the Cherokee National Forest. Connie's

Retreat offers the ideal getaway for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of

East Tennessee.



The cabin has Wi-Fi. There is a smart TV with YouTube TV and the ability to

log into your streaming services in the living room as well as a PS3 and Wii

with numerous games. There is a gas griddle grill on the back porch and a fire

pit to enjoy cooking s'mores in the back yard.



This rustic, rural gem, combining modern comforts with historic charm, was

made available to our guests in June of 2025. After dark, the fireflies are

magical in the summer and away from city lights, you'll enjoy a bright moon

and sky full of stars all year round. Enjoy easy access to all that the Town

of Tellico Plains has to offer while returning to the peace and quiet of your

cozy Connie's Retreat cabin in the evening.
