We stayed here one night on the way to Milford Sound. It's a fairly simple motel, but very clean and well located. We were particularly impressed by the very friendly and helpful host. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Zimmer war okay klein aber fein. Service war Top. Te Anau war voll sehr klein und über voll mit Tourist.

Gutes Motel in Te Anau
Gut gelegen, nahe Zentrum, nahe Restaurants. Sehr netter Service. Zimmer eher klein, aber ausreichend.

Hi there, Thanks for coming to stay with us. There is an accurate description of the room and its size for each of our rooms on the Expedia website, with photos. We try to cater for everyone and offer a great range of rooms ranging from an economical Compact Studio Unit to a very roomy 1 bedroom Unit. Obviously the size of the room is reflected in the price!

super Motel in te anau
Klasse Motel, sehr hilfsbereite Eigentümer bei tourenplanung und Reservierungen. Sehr ruhig gelegen aber dennoch zentrumsnah. Sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Nettes Hotel in Te Anau
Das Hotel liegt zentral - Maximal 3-5 Minuten zu Fuß zum See und ebenso zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber für eine Übernachtung vollkommen ausreichend.

Bella Vista Motel was an ideal base from which to explore the lakeside walks and Doubtful Sound further afield. Our room was spotless when we arrived and the amenities excellent. Just a short walk from the town, we had a good choice of dining options.

1) Good points Lovely and very warm welcome upon arrival. Booked a compact queen studio as no others available. 2) No so good *It is very "compact" No hob or separate kitchen sink. Only sink in toilet to do washing up. Once cases and luggage in room there was no where to eat except sitting on bed. No hob to cook on, microwave only. Ok for one night but wouldn't want to be in the room longer. Very very expensive when comparing to other motels we are staying in during our month tour of the two islands. In short far too expensive and too small, perhaps ok for one very tidy and organised person

We stayed two nights in early February 2024. It’s a nice, clean accommodation and good place to rest and sleep. There’s also a small outdoors to chill out or mingle with other guests. Area around the hotel is very nice. Several restaurants and grocery store are within walking distance. The lake and park are within walking distance. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to other travelers. Thank you!

The price is the market lead-in room price in Te Anau during peak season, a reasonable and understandable price. It was a good deal that you have booked a discounted room rate and you get a quality assured, high standard, centrally located accommodation.

This was a great place to crash after a day in Milford Sound. The room was very clean and simple. Has heat, no AC - which didn't matter with the moderate temps and a window propped open. We checked in late and appreciated that the reception left detailed info for us. Parking was very convenient and we walked 5 mins to dinner and breakfast in the beautiful town as suggested by the friendly host. Would recommend and stay again.

Very close to the city Centre, just a walk through the park. We showed up late at 10:30pm and the instructions provided were easy and clear. Owner is very friendly. Was Very nervous about the “motel” status but everything met expectations. The bedding was super soft and we pushed the two twin beds together to form a king.
