The accommodation itself is getting on in years and is in urgent need of renovation, and hygiene could also be improved.
For example, there is no orange juice with the free breakfast, as this has to be paid for - lol.
In my opinion, value for money is not good here, it is too expensive.

"Rundum perfekter Aufenthalt – besser geht’s nicht!
Unser Aufenthalt im Bandos Maldives war einfach traumhaft! Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gepflegt, die Zimmer sind modern, sauber und komfortabel – mit direktem Blick aufs türkisfarbene Meer.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Gallery Restaurant – das Essen war abwechslungsreich, frisch und immer köstlich. Ein großes Dankeschön an Muhamed, der uns dort täglich mit einem Lächeln und einem exzellenten Service verwöhnt hat. Seine Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit haben unseren Urlaub wirklich besonders gemacht.
Auch das restliche Personal war jederzeit hilfsbereit, herzlich und professionell. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird.
Fazit: Bandos Maldives ist ein echtes Paradies – wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!"

"Ich war das achte Mal auf den Malediven. Zum dritten Mal auf dieser Insel. Dir kurze Anreise die außergewöhnliche Behandlung als Gast die Ruhe (only adults) und die Sterneküche sind für mich das ausschlaggebende warum ich immer wieder hier her komme.
Wüsste keine preiswertere Insel wenn man einen Wasserbungalow mit Pool haben möchte.
Die Bungalows werden gerade renoviert. Das ist gut so weil sie ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen sind. Sind aber nur kleine optische Sachen. Sunset Bungalows haben nachmittags für ca. 3 Stunden keinerlei Schatten auf der Terrasse. Dies ist das einzige minimale Manko. "

Небольшой остров, утопающий в зелени с многочисленными обитателями в воде и на суше делают пребывание там очень занимательным и нескучным . Завтраки заслуживают самую высшую похвалу. Ужины в трех ресторанах также очень разнообразны ( хотелось, чтобы порции были все-таки немного поменьше ).
Ужин с шампанским Taittinger ( 7 различных видов ) в день Св. Валентина был грандиозным .
Время пролетело незаметно , было очень жаль покидать этот чудесный остров. "
"The hotel Funplace is in front of Bikini Beach and we could see the ocean from the Whirlpool! The room was big enough for us 4 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Huge balcony. There was always water and coffe (Nescafé) im room. The air conditioner was very good. The beds are very good as well. Internet was not top, unfortunately didn’t work at the whole time. The only negative point was that the door didn’t lock at all! So I left my important things in the Safe and took the key with me every time! But the hotel and the island are so safe that it didn’t bother us much about leaving the door unlocked. "

"Es war ein reiner Flopp. Nachdem wir mehrere mal versuchten das Hotel zu kontaktieren und keine Antwort erhielten, haben wir selbständig ein Taxi organisiert. Als wie ankamen, meinte das Hotel, die Nummer, welche auf Hotels sei, wäre nicht korrekt. Auch die Nummer auf Google Maps war nicht korrekt. Im Zimmer angekommen, stinken die Toiletten nach Abfluss. Es liess sich wirklich kaum aushalten. Als wir dann einschlafen konnten, wurde dann über dem 9 Stock, ab 8.30 Uhr mit einer Lautstärke gebohrt, welche es nicht möglich machte im Zimmer zu verbleiben, geschweige denn zu schlafen.
Die Personen die im Hotel arbeiten waren immer sehr Nett und können mit grosser wahrscheinlichkeit nicht viel dafür. Dem Management resp. dem Besitzer gönne ich jedoch, das dieses Hotel geschlossen wird. Sie sollten vermutlich eher ein anderes Business suchen."
