This is not a hotel but more a hostel charging over 200$ a night. A complete joke. Noise insulation is so minimal that you hear all your neighbours all night long even if they are not behaving particular noisy. The worst is the shared bathroom which people use all night and you can participate in what they are doing by just listening. Horrible place. Never again.

Super Unterkunft. War zuerst etwas skeptisch weil man im Internet allgemein wenig darüber gefunden hat, aber es sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern die man findet. Denke es wurde vor kurzem erst umgebaut und alles ist relativ neu und auf dem aktuellsten Stand. Das Personal ist auch sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit.

Das gesamte Ambiente ist sehr gelungen und wird dem Baxley Motto „live like a local“ sehr gerecht. Weiß, hellgrau, Sisal, wunderschöner Vorgarten, tolle Teeküche mit verschiedenen Teesorten, Nespresso Café, Milch, Mac pc, Tageszeitungen, coffee table books.......alles steht zur Nutzung bereit. Checkout um 10 Uhr, Kofferraum und Duschen sowie Teeküche können den ganzen Tag genutzt werden. Würde jederzeit wieder das Baxley Bondi buchen. Zum Strand ist es leider ein ganzes Stück, Cafés und Shops sowie die Bushaltestelle gleich an der Hauptstraße, was sehr praktisch ist.

Alles neu und schön eingerichtet, helle Farben, weiss - grüne Akzente. Sehr gut ausgestatteter Aufenthalts-&Küchenbereich, vom Milchaufschäumer bis boiling water aus separatem Wasserhahn perfekt für die excellente Teeauswahl. Zimmer sehr klein, aber dafür hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Ein sehr angenehmes Gefühl wenn man das Haus betritt.

Clean and bright and so well located. Lovely building and room, thank you. Unf I had not realised I had paid $495 per night for a room without a bathroom! Expensive. Also the repeated noise all night - was it the air conditioner or pipes in the walls? The staff said they didn’t know - but i saw this has been in past reviews. The noise of corridor doors opening and closing is also disruptive: sound proofing is not a thing here. I asked for an iron at 5.30 Sat night but didn’t hear back until Sunday morning - too late.

We stayed at the Baxley for 4 nights. It was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room had brilliant aircon to keep the room cool. We had fresh towels every 2 days. I can’t fault anything about this accommodation.

The Baxley Bondi was in a great location, was clean, with great front desk staff. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. We would stay there again in no time. Note: The shared bathrooms were always clean, we never had an issue getting in one or with cleanliness.

Gorgeous design, affordable and great location
Modern and well designed. Actually looks like the photos! Shared bathroom was beautifully maintained. Single bed was luxurious and the room had a fridge and sink. Very attentive and super friendly reception. My only concern was that the fridge wasn’t that cold and I fed this back to the reception staff who actively noted it down to work on for improvements. Great location! Short walk to Bondi Beach. I’ll definitely be back.

The Baxley Bondi was a perfect spot for my last few days in Australia. Easy access from Bondi Junction station via bus/walking and easy access to Bondi and Brontë Beaches and neighborhoods by walking/transit. The communal kitchen area is available for eating breakfast or carryout meals.

Great spot if you don't mind taking the bus!
The Baxley was awesome! Really nice little spot if you don't need anything but a place to sleep. It was very clean and the staff was so friendly! I was able to do laundry on site, which was a huge bonus! Only issues really were that the TV streaming kept going out and I could've used more towels. It's also a kinda weird location. Had to take the bus to get just about anywhere, but that was okay. Would stay again!

Great stay for the price. The only thing I didn’t like was the noisy air conditioner but I am a light sleeper. The rooms was only just big enough as well. Otherwise, very clean and great facilities, staff were very helpful. :)
