Upstairs you`ll find three additional bedrooms.

🌊 A Brand-New Indoor Water Park Is Coming!

There`s something exciting happening at Ocean Lakes!

The existing indoor swimming pool and mini golf area are being replaced with a brand-new indoor water park.

The indoor pool will close after September 9, 2026, as Ocean Lakes prepares for the new attraction. Construction will take place during the winter/off-season.

The new indoor water park is scheduled to open by Memorial Day Weekend 2027.

We want guests traveling during this transition to know about the changes before booking, but don`t worry—there`s still plenty of Ocean Lakes fun to go around!

Guests can continue to enjoy the beach, outdoor pools, Sandy Harbor Water Park, lazy river, water slides, Splash Zone, arcade, playgrounds, sports, fishing, and seasonal activities, subject to operating schedules.

Some amenities, water attractions, dining locations, and recreational activities are seasonal and may be affected by construction, weather, maintenance, or Ocean Lakes operating schedules.

Ocean Lakes is a complete vacation destination. The Sandy Harbor family fun center has the “Splash Zone” water park with slides and lazy river and game center that kids always love. The Nature Center can provide learning during your vacation. There are several playgrounds near the beach, an Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool for year round enjoyment, a convenience store, Sandy’s Meet and Eat restaurant, the Sandy Harbor cafe, and the “snack shak” to grab a bite.

Ocean Lakes charges $15 per vehicle per day for parking. This must be paid directly to Ocean Lakes and is not included in our cost quote. Reservations made in advance can qualify for express check-in, save a few dollars and beat the lines on check-in day.

Ocean Lakes is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north is all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world’s largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it’s just a few minutes south.

Vacation Rental Agreement - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form a binding contract between You and Ass in The Sand Beach Rental, LLC (AiTSBR) effective immediately upon reserving your beach cottage.

With this agreement, you and AiTSBR, wish to agree on the terms of your renting the property on a short-term basis for vacation purposes.

Therefore, the Parties agree as follows:

1. Reservation.
