„Staying here was an amazing experience and everything we needed for a quick trip to Ellensboro and Shelby area. Karen was amazing in meeting with and us when we arrived and also showing us around the property/facilities. „This beautiful, cozy cabin was one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve stayed in — even the up high windows were clean! We rested so well here and really felt like we had a get away. „Our family of 4 stayed here for the weekend surrounding our daughter's graduation from NCSSM in Morganton. It was fantastic! The views are incredible. This house is 25 minutes up the mountain and it is so worth it. Go slow and enjoy the local flora and fauna. We saw turkeys multiple times, including a family with babies! „Bob and Gayle were so helpful and available to us,the property is better in person, than in any picture you can see or read about. The privacy and beauty of this cabin is great. Activities to go to are within 20 to 40 minutes from the cabin. The spring fed pond was a great part of the property my dog and I swimmed every inch of it. The fruit trees and wooded area were an incredible add on to this property, my wife and I will definitely come back God willing. Thank you Bob“

The house was a little confusing to get to since the gps directions are off, but the host was very nice and provided me with more information. „We loved our stay. Easy access for a car with a wheelchair. Although we couldn’t get the chair inside it was easy to charge it from an outlet and it was under the roof on the front porch. The views from the back porch were stunning and fun to look out at the night sky and twinkling lights below. I would suggest bringing spring water with you if you are not accustomed to well water for coffee and cooking. Be prepared for driving a distance to run to a store. „The most pet-friendly place we’ve stayed. A clean, fenced backyard, a balcony/deck with good railings (no worrying that a dog might fall off), one of the bedrooms on the first floor so we didn’t have to use the stairs. The property was private, so we didn’t need to worry about neighbors. A well-stocked kitchen was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay.“
