„Das Häuschen hat eine sehr gute Lage, endlich mal kein Autolärm und alles schnell erreichbar. Die Ausstattung ist auch prima. Die Treppe ist wirklich etwas herausfordernd aber nicht anders machbar da es ja auch ein altes Haus ist. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage.“

„Absolutely beautiful place, beautiful location I cant fault anything. Pub and local store in easy walking distance. Just be aware no local public transportation except taxi which have limited availability. Wasnt a big issue but if you want to go into Plymouth it was £25 each way to the train station with one train an hour. We brought our telescope but unfortunately had cloud cover but would be a perfect location for evening of star gazing “

„My husband and I stayed in "Hawkins" cottage at Portwrinkle and we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect for us and the cottage had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and well laid out. The hot tub was a great feature. One of the reasons we chose this cottage is because it has a conservatory overlooking the sea, in case of inclement weather. However, it was a beautiful week so we made full use of the terrace and garden. Our dog also enjoyed his stay and the lovely beach ...

„We had a lovely time, thank you. The Honicombe Park Estate is fantastic, there is lots to do. The house was good though the kitchen was not the best layout, but we managed, also could do with another couple of outdoor seats on the balcony. However these were minor issues, and overall the adults, kids and dogs had a great holiday.“

„I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good. The peacocks were amusing, ...
