The New Astin Cottage was designed around the same dream of sharing in family gatherings, pool side relaxation, sunny days at the beach or winding down on the screened in porch by the pool. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Astin Cottage.

THE SPACE

A few steps up onto the covered front porch with ample seating. Enter the home into an open concept living space. From here you have a clear view to the pool and gathering spaces. To the left is the large family style kitchen with tons of counter space. Kitchen features a 6-burner gas range, stainless appliances, microwave, beverage cooler, and single serve Keurig.
Dining area is set up for 6 guests, 2 bar stools and an outdoor dining table on screened in porch is set up for 6 guests. Screened in porch also has a sectional sofa.
A large screen TV is located in the sitting area.
Laundry Room is located behind the kitchen and a half bath for guest use is directly behind the laundry room. Both are easily accessed from the screened in porch area.
Upstairs on the landing is a TV area and outdoor sitting space overlooking the pool.

Bedroom Layout:
- Main Level – Bedroom with a King Size Bed (sleeps 2), TV and adjoining bathroom with a Shower
- Upstairs left hall, first room on the left – Bedroom with a Bunk Bed with Trundle (sleeps 3 children)
- Upstairs left hall, first room on the right – Shared Hall Bathroom with a combination Tub/Shower
- Upstairs left hall, at the end of the hall – Bedroom with 2 Full Beds (sleeps 4)
- Upstairs right hall, first room on the right – Bedroom with a King Size Bed (sleeps 2), TV and adjoining bathroom with a Shower
- Upstairs right hall, at the end of the hall – Bedroom with a King Size Bed (sleeps 2), TV and adjoining bathroom with a Shower

Parking: 4 cars are permitted and depending on the size. Management is not responsible for finding over flow parking.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
