Angelina's Hide-A-Way is a casual, tri-level townhouse one block from the beach with everything you need to make this vacation your best, including a private pool with an attached kiddie pool. Enjoy two open patios, a well-equipped kitchen, plus an in-unit washer and dryer!

On the second floor, step into the cheerful living room of our beach house, where comfort and joy come together! This bright space is filled with delightful paintings that capture the beauty of the beach, infusing the room with a vibrant coastal spirit. Double doors open to a lovely balcony, revealing fantastic views of the sparkling private pool below. It is the perfect spot for sipping coffee or enjoying evening cocktails with friends. A large flat-screen TV is ready for cozy movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows after a fun day in the sun. With its warm ambiance and thoughtful design, our living room is an inviting gathering place for family and friends to create happy memories together!

Our charming second-floor dining space is a cozy blend of functionality and coastal style. It has a quaint cafe table for three people. Its simplicity allows for easy transitions between dining and entertaining. The kitchen bar has two stools for casual dining that encourage conversations with the cook! The petite space feels bright and airy, with stunning natural light pouring in from the balcony doors.

This second-floor kitchen balances simple style and compact functionality, embodying the essence of beach house living. The black countertops and the black and stainless-steel appliances contrast the subtle decor and pale blue walls. Our full-size appliances will make cooking up your family recipes as easy as a walk on the beach, plus a drop coffee machine sits beside a single-pod coffee maker for versatile brewing options for any coffee lover. The pantry cleverly incorporates a stacked HE washer and dryer pair, maintaining the kitchen's compact footprint without sacrificing convenience.

The primary bedroom on the second floor in this South Padre Island beach house features cherry-stained wood furniture and lush carpet that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rich, earthy tones beautifully contrast the soft blue walls, bringing a touch of subtle elegance to the space. The mirrored closet doors bounce the bright tropical sunshine throughout the room, while the classic ceiling fan will keep you cool while you enjoy a few episodes of your favorite show on the flat-screen TV after a warm day by the pool. Its ensuite bathroom is modern, with elegant fixtures and a spacious walk-in shower.

On the third floor, your young-at-heart guests will delight in having their own playful space to spend their free time. The two beds and ensuite bathroom maximize the room's comfort and convenience.

The ground-floor bedroom suite is the epitome of comfort and ease. Its sliding glass doors open directly onto the shady patio and private pool. The effortless access to outdoor relaxation makes this the perfect spot for your VIP travel companions. The rich brown furniture adds a sophisticated dazzle to the simple room. The bed is dressed in professionally laundered triple sheeting linens and luxury pillows that will invite dreams as sweet as the sea breeze coming off the Gulf of Mexico. The ensuite bathroom has a crisp, clean walk-in shower that makes a refreshing start or end to your day.

This home is a three-story walk-up with no elevator access. The main entrance, garage, and one-bedroom suite with direct access to the pool are located on the ground floor. The second floor includes the living area, kitchen, half bathroom, balcony with outdoor stairs to the pool, and primary bedroom suite. The third floor has an additional bedroom suite.

-Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We had a lovely stay at this house. It was fairly well cleaned, minus a few dead cockroaches that our kids discovered under some furniture. There were a few cracked/broken tiles, but nothing that was unlivable. The pool was perfect and our girls spent quite a bit of time in it. The only other issue for us, was the bathroom sinks were very tall and our girls (4yrs) couldn't wash their hands without scooting a chair or being lifted up. Not super toddler friendly, but we managed just fine. We also didn't find the 3rd bedroom until day 3, through a door in the garage. Has a slight mildewy smell to it (once more, managable).

It has items as promised, kitchen utensils and linens etc. we found a cockroach on the bed the second day. Dusty areas, showing they need to deep clean and even food wrappers and bottles caps under beds from previous visitors. Aesthetically needs work with broken tiles and water ruined furniture.

Disappointed

I understand it’s not the front desks fault, and I understand it was a Memorial Day weekend. However, 4pm is already a late check in as it is. On top of that, I was not allowed to come in until after 6pm due to the cleaning staff being behind. I understand it’s not the cleaning crews fault, they were friendly none the less. But I was expected to pay close to 900 up front and not even be allowed the full stay. I have made phone calls and management has yet to reach out. I was not allowed a late check out either. The staff is friendly and communicates thoroughly, the communication issue lies among management.

Angelina is Tired & Worn

This Hideaway needs some TLC & maintenance. The furniture is worn but useable. The couch and loveseat are holding odors and stains. Chipped tiles and worn paint throughout. The kitchen was a highlight except the dishwasher wasn’t installed correctly and took maneuvering to get it to work. One of the queen beds upstairs wash missing slats and had a very thin mattress. The queen bed next to it had been rebuilt so was sturdy. A small low stool between those beds, no table or lamp. No ceiling fan or tv in that room. Glass bowl sinks in all of the bathrooms pretty but impractical with no counter space. The third bedroom accessible through the garage was not useable. First, only a small window unit barely chugging to cool the room. There was an odor as soon as we opened the door. It was mold but smelled like stale cigarettes and a urinal. No visible mold, but the smell was overpowering even after we sprayed Febreeze. My Sister “took one for the team’ and slept there one night but the bed had no support and a 4inch foam mattress. The proverbial straw for that room was that the sliding patio door did not have a lock and from the inside was being held by a rotting wooden stick. No tv or lamp or table in that room either. We brought Sis’s belongings and didn’t go back to that room. The carpet in the bedrooms upstairs worn and the shower drains smelled. The central air in the main house worked perfectly. The moment you step foot In this place you can feel just like home. As you walk In you are welcome with stairs to The 2nd floor straight to The living and small cozy kitchen. across the kitchen is one restroom and the stairs to go upstairs to the third floor. In this floor is two bedrooms two bath. In the first floor is an extra bedroom that is very cozy then leads to the pool. We enjoyed everything about this. Well worth our stay.

It’s a dump

This place is outdated for the price. There’s cracks in the floor, paint chipping off the handrails, the carpet is dirty. Toilet didn’t work properly, the room down stairs smells like mold, one of the beds upstairs is broke, looks a lot nicer online then what it actually is in person.

Nice Pool

Overall it was a nice experience. The pool was amazing! I loved the location of the house and the spaciousness. I would say the ceiling fan in the living room was so rackety that it was uncomfortable sleeping on the pullout couch. There was a weird stain in the first-floor shower.The support team responded quickly, even sending someone over to clean it which was amazing once they reassured it was just some paint. The parking fit more than expected and the neighbors had the cutest cats we got to see everyday.

The house was in a great location and neighborhood and really close to the beach, but we were unable to use the bedroom on the first floor due to it smelly very musty, and there were a few problems with cockroaches as well
