Hotel in der City mit tollem Pool
Das Hotel, das wir von früheren Zeiten her kennen, als wir noch in Singapore gelebt haben, liegt ideal im Herzen der Stadt und in U-Bahn-Nähe. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren ebenfalls gut ausgestattet, das Badezimmer jedoch hatte eine Dusche in der Badewanne, alles etwas alt. Allerdings laufen momentan Renovierungsarbeiten, was dieses Problem wahrscheinlich auch lösen wird. Das Highlight ist der wunderschöne, große Pool. Wir würden jederzeit in dieses Hotel für einen weiteren Aufenthalt zurückkehren.

Orchard Road- das Einkaufsparadies...
Sehr zentrale Lage an der Orchard Road, in 8 Minuten Gehdistanz zur MRT Station Orchard, dadurch sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Singapur sehr gut mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr erreichbar. Die Premium Zimmer sind in hellen Farben neu gestrichen, das Mobiliar weisst Abnutzungsspuren auf. Trotz geschlossener Fenster ist die Geräuschkulisse der Orchard Road hörbar. Sehr grosse, schöne Poolanlage. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist regional/asiatisch ausgerichtet.

Das Zimmer ist sicherlich seit 15 Jahren nicht mehr renoviert worden. Ich habe am nächsten Tag das Zimmer gewechselt in eine höhere Kategorie (natürlich gegen Aufpreis).

Not happy anymore with this hotel
Stayed already 23 times for 20 years in this hotel. 20 years ago it was really a brilliant hotel, this time, I got a room which wasn't refurbished since then. Really old furniture, nothing in the mini bar, receptionist primised things which he didn't fulfil, the only detail which is stable over 20 years is the friendliness und support from the concierge. At least in the internet they show some refurbished rooms, so if you book this hotel be sure to get some of the refurbished rooms. Location is good, also the pool area is quite well.

Hotel is fine for a short stay during a city trip. air-conditioned (rather noisy in the room), bathroom a bit run down. Comfy bed. Don't book breakfast unless you want Asian plates, and they do look a bit strange. Lots of coffee stores nearby.

My room was a very nice size and has a great view of the pool. I appreciated the amenities provided by a club room, including laundry, drinks in my room, and the breakfast and snacks in the lounge. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. A special thank you to Julius for the personal attention that made a huge difference. Unfortunately a large amount of hair was left on the wall in my shower. I let staff know upon leaving the hotel and when i got back it looked like someone had attended to the bathroom but had not cleaned the shower so I needed to clean it myself.

Reception made us feel welcome on arrival. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable, the air-con worked, and the pool was fabulous. The location was quiet, but super convenient to shopping and the MRT. Our only issues were: low pressure in the shower - but we're used to high pressure so it wasn't a major; and the kettle in the room was faulty.

Convenient and reasonable price for Singapore
Very helpful staff and good location on Orchard Road. Short walk to MTR and plenty of eating places and shopping! Room was large by Singapore standards and comfortable spacious pool and sitting area off the 6th floor, but unfortunately the pool bar was closed during my visit Laundry room was nearby and this sometimes generated a damp smell around the area. Overall a very nice friendly hotel

房間雖然不新，但是空間大，小孩很愛游泳池，附近走路10分鐘以內有烏節捷運站，飯店旁邊有屈臣氏，麥當勞，卡揶吐司，7-11，吃東西很方便 住的是低樓層，沒有view，但或許這是房價便宜的關係吧

The hotel itself was not bad and was alright for what we needed. The deluxe room was spacious enough for 2 people. They hold our luggage for us even after we check out. Check in was easy enough but it was a little slow because the employee that was helping us kept getting interrupted by multiple employees with other issues which slowed down the process. They do not provide bath robes, which I was counting on when packing. They do provide toothbrushes. However, I do not believe that housekeeping was very good. Some of the towels smelled like they had been used. They do not always provide you with additional toiletries everyday. We ended up running out of their body gel because they never provided us with additional ones when they cleaned our room so we had to wait until the next day when they came back. They don't provide you with cold complimentary bottled water and ask that you use sink water since their water is clean. I understand they want to conserve water but it was not convenient. Since it was so hot we ended up buying our own bottled water from being so thirsty. They give you an empty glass bottle to fill up with water. But since we were exploring most days I was worried the bottle might break since it did not look durable. I also thought the plumbing could be better. You have to hold the toilet button down for a while to flush everything. I also wished they had a jacuzzi.

Fabulous stay
Excellent stay ! Service was excellent too. Breakfast was one of the best we had. Only thing there wasn't a live egg station which would have been helpful. The manager who attended to my issue was exemplary in his service. Thank you very much to you and all the rest too !
