„Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.“

„Großartiger britischer Charme“

„Friendly welcome, nice dinner znd breakfast buffet. Great seating area with playground for kids nd table tennis, will come back in summer “

„A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.“

The hotel is generally clean and tidy but some aspects of cleaning could be improved. The shower doors and bathroom floor would have benefited from a better clean. Good parking facilities on site and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit tired but places to stay in Matlock bath with parking are limited. All in all, good value for money.“

The hole building needs knocking down. I got an email to say it's being refurbished, and to bear with them. If you ...

„Schönes Zimmer, nettes Personal, schöne Gegend. “

„Kleines Gasthaus in idyllischer Lage auf einem Hügel. Nette Gastgeber, gutes individuelles Frühstück, kein Buffet. Etwas abgelegen, was aber durch die tolle Aussicht wettgemacht wird.“

„For me - everything was comfortable😃 Beautiful interior, red-light,and after walking on the local hills, really comfortable sleeping in the unic-bed!“
