Very nice location. Close to the beach and downtown.
Overall everything was great. Just a heads up to note which is not noted in the Vrbo contract, there is an expectation for you to strip the bed and start the load of sheets and pillow cases. Not a big deal, just give yourself extra time if you have a plane to catch;-). Location is great. Walking distance to the beach and all shops downtown. Our hosts were always available and easy to work with! Recommend this place to any couple.

Location is perfect!
My daughter and I stayed here and it was perfect. Very quiet, family friendly neighborhood. We were able to walk to everything. Walked at night with no problems, the beach is right there, people in the town are very friendly - we will be back! Cute little casita, I liked that we had a garage to park in. Incredibly quiet.

Perfect location and perfect size
This cottage is better than listing says. Parking garage is a major plus. They also had everything you needed in the kitchen and plenty of extra linens and towels. Loved that they had all the beach accessories even things for the kids. Property manager was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Excellent communication. Clean and private!

Great Weekend Getaway
Kai and Elena were absolutely wonderful! They worked with me on our arrival time knowing I had two kiddos in tow. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a success. Wonderful cottage
We had a wonderful time decompressing from a big wedding in Hollywood. It felt a little snug at first but we got used to it and we were able to easily stroll to the beach/pier and many nice restaurants and shops. Communication with owner was great, very personable and responsive.

Labor Day at Seal Beach
We had a wonderful time staying at Starfish Cottage over Labor Day Weekend. It was close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the pier. We walked everywhere and everything was just minutes from the cottage. Our hosts were so polite and communicated very well! Clean, quiet and homey!
My husband and I stayed here for 6 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and found Starfish Cottage to be a charming place to spend that much time. It was very, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Seal Beach is really a magical place; between proximity to the beach, town, pier and the greenbelt median, this cottage will put you right where you want to be. Our communication with Kye and Elena was stellar; if you need anything, they are only a few minutes away. We have lived in a rural location for many years but found this place to be even quieter than the country. Not sure how that happens, but there is no road or highway noise, and all of the neighbors seem to respect the Seal Beach reputation for peace and quiet. This place is wonderful!

Awesome cottage
My husband and I loved the stay in Seal Beach. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us. Parking was not a problem as we got to use half of a 2 car garage. The owner Ky was there to greet us & show us the ropes & great restaurant suggestions. He was also very responsive when we called about batteries for the remote 😀. The only negative I can even think of was the shower was pretty small. Definitely a do again.

The cottage was great. A wonderful location, just a block from the beach. Very quiet neighborhood and you can walk everywhere. Close to all the restaurants and shopping. the cottage had plenty of space and very comfortable for 2 people. We were there 4 nights and would have liked to stay longer. There is a washer, but coin operated. A nice garage for your can and plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. 3 grocery stores within 10 minutes. The owner was very accommodating and checked in with me to make sure everything was good. Would stay there again if we return to Seal Beach.

Amazing location and space!!
My family and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this rental! The owners, Elena and Kye have to be to most kind and thoughtful hosts and they roll out the red carpet for their guests. The Starfish Cottage is exactly as described and pictured on the rental website. The cottage is clean and stocked with everything my family needed to have a fun filled, relaxing vacation. The location is perfect, set in the beautiful town of Seal Beach, off the busy highway and steps away from the sand and ocean. The community is gorgeous with beach houses, restaurants and shops, just a short walk down the boardwalk. Thank you so much to Elena and Kye for a fantastic vacation, filled with memories we will treasure UNTIL we book again for next year!

Caberin: You noticed the uniqueness of Seal Beach. PCH runs on top of the city and down here by the ocean we don't have the hustle of car traffic where you can walk to many places and especially with kids. Great location, cute town, comfortable stay
This little house was perfect for the 3 of us. We could walk to the beach and to the main street quickly. It was nice not having to move our car all weekend. My only suggestion would be to maybe make the back patio for the back house and the front patio for the front house, to ensure everyone gets a place to spend time outside. No complaints though! Our stay was great and the hosts were amazing.

This property feels like a home away from home. It is a short walk to the beach, pier and Main Street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't move it until we left. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer!

Awesome Property!
I stayed in the half cottage which was absolutely wonderful and beautifully decorated! Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room with TV. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. I ate lunch out on the patio which had a table with chairs and umbrella, a love seat, and 2 more chairs. I could see the beach from the house which was a 2 minute walk. It was also a short walk to the pier and Main Street, my favorite places in Seal Beach. The owners were wonderful and so helpful! Friends stayed in the main cottage which was just as wonderful! I highly recommend this property! It will be my go-to when I head to Seal Beach. Thank you Elena and Kye for a wonderful experience!

Perfect Beach Cottage!
To begin the hosts Kye and Elena are exceptional. They communicated with me right away when I booked my stay, and during my stay anytime if I had a question or needed anything they responded quickly. The cottage is perfect for a nice quiet stay at the beach. It has everything you need to feel at home such as wi-fi, TV, kitchen, washer/dryer, parking, comfortable bed. It’s a comfy cozy quiet little getaway that feels like home. Its a very charming and unique little gem. The location is ideal as it’s a close walk to the shops, restaurants, and the beach. This is my 2nd stay at the cottage and I already booked my next visit. Thank you Kye and Elena for making my experience at the Pineapple Cottage a wonderful and delightful experience.

Perfect little getaway place for two. Older but updated cottage, clean and cared for, tastefully decorated. Convenient to beach and Main Street- park the car and walk wherever you want to go. Attentive and personable owners. We happened to stay during the September heatwave- no A/C for those who may have medical issues (we booked knowing this). It was a bit toasty but we got through it. We'd love to come back another time!

The cottage is adorable and was the perfect fit for me and my spouse! It’s well appointed and in the absolutely best location, just one and a half blocks to the beach(an easy walk) and you can’t beat that! So much is within walking distance from the cottage with shops and restaurants located on Main Street and a grocery store just across Pacific Coast Highway. Elena and Kye are awesome hosts! Very friendly, personable and professional. They kept us updated of events going on in town during our stay and we really appreciated that special touch. We can’t wait to return to Seal Beach for another visit and stay at the Starfish Cottage!

Fantastic Beach Getaway!
We had a great time over 4 days last week. Internet was great to allow for some remote work and the location was fantastic for beach hanging and walking to coffee/dinner. Very relaxing. The unit was very well appointed and I hope we'll be back!

Lovely Beach Cottage
We loved our week-long stay here! It is a sweet, relaxing cottage with everything you need. Beach breezes, walking distance to the sand, local restaurants and stores. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful and relaxing.

Cozy Cottage
You can't beat the location in Seal Beach. We took walks on the beach each night after dinner, my daughter went for early morning runs while I read on their cute patio which is situated between the front cottage and the back cottage which is the one we stayed in. Very comfortable and very charming. The owner was extremely responsive and went the extra mile for us.

Amazing property
The property was amazing and Elena & Kye were great hosts. They recommended places to visit and see. Staying in Seal Beach felt like our own private getaway. The town is super friendly and the beach was within 5 mins or less. Definitely will stay here again.

Amazing time at Starfish Cottage
Positives: Place was exactly as described/shown Cottage was spotless You cannot beat the location – 50 steps to a beautiful beach, 5 min walk to a cute, beachy downtown area with great restaurants and gift shops. Lots of dishware, other utensils etc., needed for cooking, making meals We went for our honeymoon and they left us a sweet card, a rose and some treats, which was a really nice touch The bed is super comfy and the sheets are insanely soft Lots of cute décor touches around the cottage – it is clear they take a lot of pride in their property The owners are kind, responsive and helpful. It is obvious that they are passionate about their property and truly want their guests to have a wonderful time. We had a minor issue with the garage door opener and the owner was over, right away (they live quite close), trying to get it sorted and offering other solutions for us. He even brought us delicious blueberry bread for the inconvenience Things to consider: If you are looking for total privacy, this may not be the best fit for you. Cottage is on the same property as owner’s other rental Shared patio, laundry, garage. The units are not attached and do have separate entrances. This being said – we are private people and none of this was an issue for us. We only saw the other renters once. Owner greets you when you arrive to do check in/grant access to the cottage and garage. Very nice to meet the owner face to face – he is super friendly and pleasant. He provided us with recommendations of things to do, but after a long day of travel, it would have been nice to have the option to come in on our own and receive virtual access. Lot of rules and we found two sides to this – you know what is expected of you straight off the bat. None of the rules were an issue for us – we were respectful and cared for the cottage like we would our own, however, we did find ourselves a bit on edge, as we were concerned about forgetting to do/not do something etc. The shower is small but fine for our needs. My husband is 6’1” and found it uncomfortable to shower as the shower head was too low for him. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this area. Seal Beach itself is beautiful and the people are friendly. The owners were attentive, helpful, friendly and put a lot of effort into making sure we had the best time. We would 10/10 stay here again!! Thanks Elena and Kye for everything!
