„Brilliant location and close to the top spots we went to see. Quiet neighborhood by the river. Suite was large and luxurious. Lovely bouquet, complimentary wine, and confectionary on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave too. Washer dryer in Japanese language, but staff helped us. Easy! Concierge services were also exceptional. Excellent Michelin star restaurant reservation on the same day.“

„Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Der Service war hervorragend! “

„Very nice rooms, good location and great service.“

„Big room but less space for clothes or work on desk / table ( e.g. laptop). Breakfast they offer three styles, japanese, pancake, western, but are flexibel, that's good. Breakfast Service people not good organized. Overall optical is exzellent but details not good organized“

„This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden.“

„Tolles Hotel mit für Japan sehr großem Dreier-Zimmer. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel und Burg in Gehreichweite, ebenso sehr gute italienische Bar nebenan (Espresso und Frühstück!) und 7/11. Absolute Empfehlung“

„Alles war top! Vor allem das ma sich kaffe und matcha Latte umsonst in der Lobby herauslassen kann“

„What a cool experience to stay in a preserved but beautifully updated traditional machiya! The house was in excellent condition with tasteful details, and the hosts were very generous in supplying refreshments and snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. We had all the amenities we needed, which all worked perfectly for a comfortable and convenient stay. The stairs were narrow and felt a bit precarious, but we mindfully ascended and descended with care and got more accustomed to them by the end ...

„Das Hotel ist wunderschön im typisch japanischen Stil gestaltet. Es ist sehr groß, beeindruckend und gleichzeitig unglaublich hübsch und gemütlich. Besonders die japanischen Details und die traditionelle Atmosphäre haben uns sehr gefallen.“

„Our stay here was the highlight of a three week vacation in Japan. It is an unique, deep immersion into Japan culture and hospitality while still being comfortable for non-Japanese. The tranquility and quality of the environment, the accommodations, and the food were exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. They savored their role as guides into the culture and traditions that they offered. While it was a very traditional experience, the facilities ...
