Everything at the alida from start to finish was excellent. The only comment I have was regarding the walls being pretty thin, you can hear doors slamming from across the hall and the bathroom sink makes a very loud noise when you run the water. Regardless, we had a wonderful 3 night experience here and would definitely stay again.

Easy parking if you Valet Park. Parking any where up town Savannah is usually a pain unless you pay. That why if you’re going to Savannah you get a hotel. (Especially uptown Savannah.) Going to River Street is fun looking in shops to me. We went to Exchange Tavern to eat lunch. They have really good crab chowder. Hamburgers, shrimp salad to name a few. Alida has several bars. Couple downstairs & 1 rooftop area. Also has the Rhett restaurant on site. Close to The J W Marriott The Plant. Which is right behind the Alida. I’ve have stayed at both hotels and there is plenty to do to stay entertained. They both have pools. Excellent!

Go-To Hotel in Savannah!
Had a great staycation at the Alida! The room was a perfect corner suite with an amazing view of the Talmadge Bridge! Could not have asked for a better night away!

On the Hotels.com website it said the pet fee was $100 at The Alida. When we arrived they charged us $150. Someone needs to get things updated !!!

Not worth the boutique price
Definitely not worth the boutique price. Location is awkward. Not much of a view since the hotel is sandwiched in between buildings. There are many better hotels for the boutique price in the area. Check in was disorganized and not thorough. Had to go back down a couple times. Had to call maintenance since ac wasn’t blowing cold. Valet is one of the highest in the area at $51 plus tax so like $54 each car.

Pretentious and expensive
This hotel was a real disappointment. Very expensive…$300+ for a small room with a king bed, no coffee maker or microwave. Literally no view…the window was covered with slats on the outside…denying us a wonderful look at the roof-top HVAC units. Valet parking (no self parking) was $51…not $50, not $55, but $51 a night. Go figure. Did I mentioned the $30-a-night resort fee? I guess that was for the wonderful pool…that had a 3-foot DEEP end. “No Diving”…no kidding. Good location. Nice looking restaurant. Not planning to return.

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and found us out of the price range that was set in your budget. We do pride ourselves in keeping our prices similar to the market when it comes to our valet and room prices. I hope one day that you will return and see how great we really are.

I payed for a room and the tv didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it during my stay so they moved us and the room was so tiny in comparison to the original king room with a pool view. I couldn’t fit my baby’s pack n play anywhere so she had to sleep with us. Which is not ideal.

Cool hotel in good location.
Nice modern hotel in old warehouse building. Groovy reception area with really great lighting fixtures! Bedrooms comfortable, but some of the upholstery is looking rather tired now. The staff are excellent.

I booked a room with a soaking tub and got a room with a shower. The wooden floor was sticky, the bathroom had a gray rubbery tile, weird layout very small, the toilet made a weird flushing sound for minutes after a flush, the floor in the bathroom was cracked around the base boards. The sitting area cushions were stained. The ceiling and fixtures where dusty. started to take a pictures and post it. However, I saw other rooms being cleaned looked spacious and beautiful. The hotel cut corners on this room. I'm in the travel business and have stayed at all the upscale properties in the area. This is the first one I did not not enjoy. Made the most out of our stay, and we checked out early. The staff was polite. However I left my silk suit dress hanging in the closet. I called and ask could they bring it to the front desk. I advised the front desk I just called and spoke to someone pertaining to an item left hanging in the closet. The clerk said one moment then I look behind the counter and saw a black silk item to find out that was my suit jacket style dress balled up. The roof top bartenders are friendly. We went to the JW Marriot for father's day dinner and breakfast, JW Marriot is next to the Alida. I love the complimentary plastic bottles and water stations at The Alida. The shower gel and lotion are amazing. Me and my husband just ended up getting a terrible room.

This miscommunication should not have occurred, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We understand how important it is for our guests to have their preferred amenities, and we deeply regret that we failed to provide you with the desired room type.We apologize for the condition of the room you were assigned. The issues you mentioned, such as the sticky wooden floor, the gray rubbery tile in the bathroom, the cramped layout, the cracked flooring, and the stained cushions, are not reflective of the high standards we strive to maintain. We are truly sorry for any discomfort or dissatisfaction these conditions may have caused you.We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the complimentary plastic bottles and water stations at our hotel, as well as the quality of the shower gel and lotion provided. However, we deeply regret that these positive aspects were overshadowed by the negative aspects of your room experience.

A very nice property located close to the river and walkable to the historical district. Beware, there are no rooms with a great view as the hotel is boxed in and views(if you can call them that) are limited. The 30.00 a day "resort fee" is ridiculous and should immediately be eliminated. You can only use this as a credit in the lobby bar(no where else at the property). In doing further research, no other upscale hotel in the area does this, including the other Marriott properties. I don't like to be forced to spend money that I would spend anyway at a hotel. If they insist on keeping it, let your guests use it anywhere on the property; not just at the bar.

I do apologize that the views were not up to your standard, our 30 amenity is there to provide much more than the 30 drink voucher. It allows you to use our bikes, champagne and cookies from 3-5, discounted trolley passes, use of our nooks with chilled, sparkling, and ambient water. I hope that you will come and try us again in the future.

Beautiful Hotel, one block from river walkway and great restaurants all around. Decor is super cool and well appointed in lobby and rooms. great fitness center and nice pool area.
