Tolle Lage. Große schöne Wohnung. Betten hätten etwas größer sein können. Leider hatte ein Schlafzimmer kein Fenster und die anderen Fenster in der Wohnung ließen sich nicht öffnen. Ein Radiowecker im Schlafzimmer wäre schön.

Super Lage und sauberes Hotel.
Sehr tolle Lage mit super Restaurant nebenan. Mail mit super Beschreibung kommt am Morgen der Anreise. Vorsichtig bei der Benutzung des Toaster bei der normaler Benutzung wird der Feueralarm ausgelöst Dank Manager Bob (Anruf) kam keine Feuerwehr und er war innerhalb von 15 Minuten da um den Alarm auszustellen.

This home is in the most ideal location for visiting Savannah. It has close location to the Riverfront and easily walkable to all the city parks. We walked Bull street to Forsyth park and back down Abercorn street back to Leopold’s Ice cream and made many stops in between and it was a great day of exploring. The home was spacious and comfortable for our needs. The home was more quiet than I expected it to be being that close to the River Street nightlife. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

This is by far the best place I’ve stayed in Savannah. Very clean, convenient, and walkable to everything. This will be my go-to place to stay any time I visit Savannah. Super happy with the experience!!

We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite 903 and it was huge! So much room to spread out. There were comfortable touches everywhere including a book of dining suggestions and a courtyard area. A bonus is the location, we left our car in the included designated spot and walked everywhere. Very close proximity to River Street. Although there was a restaurant nearby, our suite was well insulated and we never heard any outdoor noise. The suite had two bathrooms! Water pressure was good and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Our second time here and hopefully there will be a third and a fourth and more. A great place to use as home base when you are out and about and a great place to stay inside if rain forces you to! Good restaurants surround the Lodge. Really appreciate the generous cancellation policy. Stairs are something to consider if you are impaired. Restaurant/bar is right next door but didn’t bother us at all. Great experience.

A little confused about no front desk and all communication mentioned a front desk. Other than that, house was perfect and all the small touches made us feel very welcomed. Great location within walking distance of everything!!!

Perfect location
Excellent stay. We wer on the second floor of the three flat building, a two bedroom two bath, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The apartment is well-kept and modern and lots of space. It is very convenient to many restaurants and tours as it is only two blocks from River Street. Will definitely stay here again.

A great value
This was a great place to place. Very clean and very close to River Street and a ton of great restaurants. The only downside eas the furniture was very soft, sone people like that i perfer something firmer. Otherwise I highly recommend staying here.

The property itself was excellent and no complaints. The negative aspect was not being able to access the property. The keycode number to enter the premises was received too late. I tried to telephone but a waiting time with 16 callers waiting in line was useless. I very nearly left to obtain alternative accommodation but for finding a worker on the premises.

We are sorry to hear of any problems you had checking into Oglethorpe Lodge. Our check in information is sent at 8:00am the day of check to your email address. Check in is 3:00pm, so we do allow ample time to receive this email. Unfortunately we are unsure what number you tried to reach us as our phone systems do not state the number of callers ahead of you. We do list our help desk phone number on all site and listing information. In addition to our number which rings directly to an operator, we also post on site at the property the number to our property manager for any after hours issues with the location.

Love this property! It was so wonderful to be in the middle of it all, yet feel like it was an oasis of peace and quiet after a busy day. Enjoyed having friends who stayed at a nearby hotel over for drinks and relaxing in the living room. Will definitely stay here anytime we visit Savannah.

Two Couples on Vacation
Great place for two couples. Location was perfect; easily walkable to most places in the Historic District. Parking was a plus for when we didn't use the car. Felt like home for the week we were there. Hope we can stay there again sometime.

This 1 bedroom condo was beautiful, HUGE and had such character! We did have a little issue with the A/C not working, but they got someone out to fix it. Direct TV in the bedroom didn't work and the wifi was terrible. That said, we didn't visit Savannah to watch tv or be on the internet in our condo. There were sweet little touches that they included such as a note on the fridge welcoming us, and mints on the counter and little bottles of sanitizer for us to take. The location of this building was perfect right on Bay street across from River Street where a lot of the action is. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place and loved the location.
This was the perfect place for our stay. We took our son, his wife and two granddaughters for a 4 night stay. Everyone agreed this place was in the perfect spot for everything we were planning to do. Our favorite thing to do was have dinner on the balcony. Really felt like we were back 100 years or so. Property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Liked there was 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms.; Privacy is important when traveling.

What we liked about Oglethorpe Lodge was the homelike feel and the large size. Having extra space - so your luggage is not taking up all the floor space, etc. - really makes all the difference. We were in the one BR apt. (with one and a half baths) which is on the third floor so you have to carry your luggage up two flights. But, it was well worth it. On this hot, steamy Savannah weekend, it felt wonderful to come back to this cool, comfortable apartment. It is also nice to have a free parking spot, which you reach from the alley. And, of course, the location is excellent!

Believe the positive reviews. It is a positive experience to stay at the Oglethorpe Lodge. The location is excellent. We stayed in the top floor which was the smallest unit, and it was still a very spacious unit with a full bathroom and half bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning works well for those who like it chilly. The stairs are very manageable. I am in my fifties and did not have any problems carrying the suitcases and the beach cooler up and down the stairs. If I had one suggestion, it would be to dump Direct TV and provide cable. But, that certainly is not going to keep us from staying there again if the unit is available.
