I read reviews, thought I would have a great experience. One reviewer indicated “nice hotel but wrong location” or something similar. When I turned into the parking lot, I knew what she meant. The hotel across the entrance of GLo had several people “hanging” in the parking lot of their hotel and on the balconies. I didn’t feel unsafe, but it is not something you would expect, at least in my experience. My reservation was for a single bed. I was placed with a double bed. I was not informed of this when I got my key which was not a big deal, but added to the list of “things that I did not sign up for.” A plus, the person at the desk was forthcoming about the $150 deposit that is held in “pending” status for incidentals. This was something that others indicated was an issue in reviews. When I arrived in room, I noticed several spots were not thoroughly cleaned: The floors, plastic tags from clothing were in several places on the floor and food crumbs in the corners. The shower, walls had shampoo and conditioner splattered. They also had what looked like mold on the bottom of the shower panel due to a seal that was malfunctioning. The sink, the nozzle that controlled the temperature had crude. Along with the stains on the sink from water spots. The speckled shelving that was near the sink had what looked like toothpaste splatter on the bottom edge. After these things, I started to inspect the entire room and found the room to be poorly crafted.I will not return!

It was okay, nothing to write home about. The hotel room was fine, decently clean. The door to the closet also doubled as the door to the bathroom which was... interesting. There was no way to lock the bathroom door so hope you are comfortable with whoever you are rooming with. Also the safe and the microwave were inside the closet so i couldn't even store my luggage inside. The breakfast was abysmal, we ended up eating breakfast at the cracker barrel next door on the second morning.

The property looks great, clean, and modern. The breakfast is very limited in choices. At 4:21 a.m. the fire alarm of the hotel sounded off for around 1- 20 second very loud. At check out, I ask the front clerk why did the alarm sound off and her reply was "I do not know because I was not on shift." I highly doubt that she was not informed about the alarm. There was no apology for the inconvenience of the interumpted sleep.

Nice place
Hotel is clean. There is a deposit per night that will be charged and refunded as long as all goes well. Kind of different. Front desk says it will be refunded with 5 to 7 business days. Breakfast was the usual but not too bad. There are many restaurants and fast food near by. I would stay again.

Terrible idea to make a charge on everyone’s card of $150 for incidentals! Also, the rule to not allow food from the breakfast room to guests rooms is very weird, especially when microwaves are located in each room. The shower door leaks water all over the floor even when completely closed - something is wrong with the design. The whole experience left a negative impression.

I like the property itself. Breakfast was fantastic; so many choices. The only thing I had a complaint about was the water; it wasn't very hot, nor did it have good pressure. A Recommended Stay - But Review My Review
I rather enjoyed my stay at the GLo. There were a few things not perfect, but it was a comfortable stay. - You definitely see the bright blue light from down the street. (quite a spectacle) But I'm sure the hotel guests across the parking lot see it too (blinding). - I stayed on the 3rd floor. Hotel room was very clean BUT several items could've used cosmetic touches or removed temporarily. (chair had some stains, clock had rust) - Shower was warm enough (didn't get extremely hot), but the seal on the bottom of the shower door was non existent so thankfully the floor mat I placed down collected it but it was soaked. Had to use another towel to sop it up. The drain was visibly rusty, and grimy. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. - Would've been nice if breakfast had bacon. Consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits n gravy, juices, coffee, fruit cups in juice, cereal, yogurt, waffles and a few other pastries. The presentation of the eggs was a shock because I could understand them being a little watery, but these eggs were in a pool. Then the biscuits were more cakey than a regular biscuit you'd put gravy on. Food was tolerable and I didn't get sick from it. - Lobby coffee was 24/7 in a sense that the coffee available after hours might be there, but it could be cold or empty. There was also a small snack and drink shop available. Regardless of what I pointed out, I would definitely stay again at this hotel cause these are minor issues for me.

Fint hotell rett ved motorveien, enkelt å finne frem. Stort rom med deilig seng og stort bad. Gratis parkering. Enkel frokost inkludert. Ett par spisesteder i gåavstand hvis man trenger det.

I hated this hotel! The room decor was meh and the room itself was extremely small. Every inch of space was utilized. Down to them placing the microwave on top of the safe in the closet! The breakfast was horrible!! The cost of $168/night was extreme for such a mediocre hotel. They even charge a $150 deposit for incidentals of which is paid upon arriving!! Although refundable. I will never stay at this hotel again!!
