Wir waren nach 2018 im Mai 2024 das zweite Mal im Carlisle Inn in Sarasota. Das Hotel hat sein hohes Niveau gehalten. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir können das Carlisle Inn wirklich nur empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr gepflegt, sehr guter Service, große Zimmer, gute Lage, viele Parkplätze. Nur beim Frühstück hätten wir uns eine größere Auswahl gewünscht. Da ist noch Luft nach oben. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen

Wir waren etwas überrascht das es ein von den Amish geführtes Hotel ist. Es gab einen beheizten Pool und kostenlose Kekse am Nachmittag. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Insgesamt das beste Hotel auf unserem Florida! Roadtrip.

Schönes Hotel mit einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis am letzten Tag unserer Rundreise. Ein nettes Lokal zum Abendessen war zu Fuß erreichbar. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir uns noch Sarasota anschauen.

We were more than satisfied, the room was very large, everything was clean and available. The reception was very friendly and courteous, we got the room earlier than agreed. There were plenty of parking spaces, even in the shade. The breakfast was prepared by nice ladies, everything was fresh. We were surprised that there was no plastic crockery, it was made of cardboard and therefore environmentally friendly. It wasn't far to the beaches, everything was easily accessible. We can only recommend the hotel!

Sehr gutes Hotel in Sarasota
Ich schliesse mich den restlichen Bewertungen an. Ein unglaublich gutes Hotel. Sehr sauber und sehr freundliches Personal. Ein grösseres Lob für die Damen an der Rezeption... :-) Executive Zimmer sind sehr gross und sehr gut ausgestattet (eigene Waschmaschine / Tumbler). Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist m.E. das Fitness. Sehr klein und nur sehr spärlich ausgestattet.

Peaceful, relaxing , CLEAN, every inch of property well maintained, all staff very friendly. Stayed 3 nights, location close to things to do but not near hectic tourist hotels. Loved the big room, separate changing room with sink. Pool very clean and had it to ourself. Loved our stay! Will definitely stay here again!

I was extremely happy with my stay at Carlisle Inn. We were there o visit because my nephew was graduating from high school. Everyone was so nice and the entire hotel was very clean. It was definitely the best place I have stayed. The only complaint was we ate WAY too much, but that was on us. The breakfast at the hotel was great and the eating place next door was fantastic. Not to leave out the cookies at 4pm at the hotel. Thank you so much and we will see you next time we visit.

The beautifully landscaped property was it for me! As we drove onto the property, I knew we had chosen the right place to lodge for 4-days and 3-nights. When we initially walked through the doors, we were warmly greeted by two woman at the front desk (I forget their names, sorry!) and an older gentleman who, sadly, did not acknowledge us at all. We did not allow his subtle facial gestures to prevent us from having a great time in the Sarasota area. However, the day before we left, as we had come in from a late lunch, he faintly smiled at us. Our room was by the elevator on the 2nd floor; it was quite spacious, meticulously clean, and comfortable. We slept very well each night. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious! There was a large assortment of pastries, baked goods, waffles one can make, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, link sausages, cold cereal, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, milk, fresh orange juice, other juices, and hot beverages. There was a very kind gentleman who managed the dining area. The women who prepared breakfast were very kind and friendly. I must acknowledge Becky!! She was genuinely personable and perky, and asked us about our stay as we checked out. All in all, we enjoyed our stay! We would consider lodging at Carlisle Inn again.

We made a last minute decision to spend two nights at the Carlisle Inn for graduation events. We made a great choice! We booked a regular room and received a complimentary upgrade to a room with a full kitchen which was lovely because I had to work on the Friday we were there, and the island connected to the kitchen was ideal for meetings. The hotel staff helped my husband find quiet meeting rooms/spaces for his meetings. The breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs, sausage, homemade biscuits, baked oatmeal, and fresh pastries from the bakery along with the usual hotel breakfast fare connected to the hotel. It was the first time I’ve looked forward to breakfast on the second morning of my stay at a hotel in a long time. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Their motto is peace and comfort, and the hotel exemplified that motto. If I need to stay in the Sarasota area again in the future, I’ll return to the Carlisle Inn. (Note: It’s not in the downtown area or right by the beach, but both are easily accessible, and the quieter area contributed to the peaceful feeling there.)

Very smart hotel with well decorated spacious room. Comfortable beds. Quiet location on outskirts of Sarasota but convenient for centre and all beaches. Plenty of free parking. Decent range of food for breakfast and enough for most diners. Restaurant on site serves good food.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The well appointed rooms with comfortable beds are spotlessly clean along with the hallways, lobby, and pool area. The Inn is quiet and peaceful notwithstanding its size. The complimentary breakfasts are restaurant quality. The staff is helpful and friendly. Next door is an excellent restaurant and bakery serving comfort food at great prices. Parking is free and the location is convenient to everything. All this and reasonable room rates too. This place is a real gem in Sarasota!
