Dissatisfied

The property is on a high traffic volume highway. We were not given access code prior to our arrival...when I contacted the host, I was told I did not have a reservation. I ended up contacting VRBO speaking to various agents to get it straightened out. I should have been compensated for all the disposition and mental anguish.

Perfect getaway

Very beautiful and cozy and unique. Brilliant idea for an Vrbo. Location was perfect. Close to the beaches. Exactly what my family needed while we were visiting family in town. Communication with property manager was beyond exceptional. Very understanding and accommodating. Would love to get the chance to come back and stay. 10 out of 10!

Guest House was perfect for our needs

The property is nicely furnished, comfortable and very clean. No complaints! It's close to the Legacy Trail, where we walked in the mornings. All in all, very nice.

It was just what we needed in Sarasota! Mariel was attentive to the wifi issue we had and helped solve it right away! It is located on a busy street so may not be suitable for young children. We enjoyed it for what we needed. Thanks to Mariel!!

Family time

I rent this for my Mom and Sister as I just don’t have enough room at my place. They were so pleased with the place. The host was great. There was an issue with the lock and she had it fixed very quickly. The beds are high and my mom is short. The host went out and bought a step stool for her. Thank you they had a wonderful time

We had a great stay! About 20 mins from Siesta Key and lots of great restaurants close by. Small sitting/kitchen but perfect for our short trip. Host was very communicative.

The Good and The Bad

Let me start by saying the actual property is very nice and well done. The beds were comfortable except for the extreme creaking that happened when getting up during the night. The kitchen was stocked well but the bathroom was not. We did not have enough washcloths and had to buy hand soap because there was hardly any in the dispenser. Be sure to read through what is included with the property because you may need to pack some essentials like a hair dryer or an extra blanket. Now for the bad which was our checkin. We had not received the access code ahead of time and were not able to reach the host once we arrived at the property. We ended up reaching out to VRBO who was willing to put us up in a hotel for a few nights after spending over an hour on the phone with them. While getting ready to check in at the hotel, we finally heard from the host who was out of country with little phone connection. We then had to drive back 20 minutes to finally get into the property. It was not the way we had planned to spend our first evening before 3 long days at a tournament. Hopefully, this was an exception for the host and if you choose to stay here, you will have a better checkin experience
