The Space:
This Santa Barbara vacation home features upscale furnishings and decor, state-of-the-art technology, and a central location. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, there is plenty of space for your whole family or group of friends. Vacationers will spend their days strolling the sprawling grounds, taking a quick car ride down to Butterfly Beach, or even catching a concert at the Music Academy of the West.

Guests will first encounter the extensive driveway and garage, ensuring space for their vehicles at all times. The main living room is furnished with plush seating options placed in front of dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows. After a trip to the beach this is a comfortable space to unwind and sip on a glass of wine while spending time with your loved ones. An additional sitting area provides further seating in front or a mounted flat screen TV. Settle down here for a movie at the end of the night. A sound system and WIFI are provided for your convenience.

Past the living room and sitting area is a beautifully designed kitchen. A chef will truly be in heaven using the updated stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. Whip up scrumptious snacks and mouthwatering meals for everyone to enjoy. In addition to these FIVE seats, there is an OUTSIDE dining table with seating for eight.

Simply slide open the Nana door between the kitchen and backyard to seamlessly transition to an indoor/outdoor setting. The outdoor dining set alongside a BBQ offers the perfect alfresco dining experience.

When you are ready to retire for the evening and receive a good night's rest, there are three bedrooms. The lavish master bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed, has doors to the back patio, and has an ensuite master bathroom. The master bathroom is spa-worthy with a walk-in shower, dual sinks, and marble tiling. The first guest bedroom holds a Queen-size bed and has doors leading to the side of the home. The second guest bedroom similarly has a Queen-size bed. A guest bathroom with a walk-in shower can be found in the hallway between these bedrooms.

A full laundry room is also tucked away off of the kitchen. A half bathroom is also located in the laundry room.

One of the best features of Modern Serenity is the sprawling backyard and patio. The fenced in backyard is landscaped with lush plants and an ample amount of grass space. This area is ideal for the kids to run around freely or to relax and bask in the sun. The patio is arranged with outdoor lounge seating gathered around a fit pit. Spend nights out here chatting over the fire creating unforgettable memories.

Beautiful Relaxing Home

The home was absolutely beautiful. Wonderful location within short walking distance of Butterfly Beach. The home is decorated lovely. Large rooms, great bathroom, gorgeous kitchen with bifold opening doors to the patio. Incredible backyard. It was so relaxing and felt like home for the week we spent. Would highly recommend this beautiful location!

Very enjoyable stay!

Very nice home. Great proximity to beaches and town. One thing to note is that mobile signal is a bit weak, although we found that to be true in many parts of Santa Barbara and Montecito. We would highly recommend this home.

Great House and Location

My wife and I rented this nice house for about 2-weeks as a getaway from winter back east. It was perfect for us - great 1-floor layout; large and very well equipped kitchen ; three good bedrooms with two spacious bathrooms; excellent outdoor spaces with two sitting areas and a great dining area with gas grill. There are two TV viewing areas with cable plus Netflix and Hulu. The location is really good - only a 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach which was surprisingly uncrowded. Only two small drawbacks - the Wi-Fi was quite slow and occasionally cut out entirely; and the “half-bath” is actually a toilet in the laundry room. But overall, a really nice place where we would definitely return

A perfect spot

Really nice place with a huge kitchen/casual eating area where we spent a lot of our time. In warmer months the back yard sitting area would be a joy - a bit too cold for us in early Jan. Location is perfect - easy walk to Butterfly beach, short drive to canyon trailheads and Coast Road Montecito restaurants and shops all within easy reach. Had a wonderful stay!

We loved this Montecitohome for our mini family reunion vacation. The house functioned well: roomy laundry room; full kitchen; outdoor dining was lovely; outdoor fireplace was cozy; and plenty of room to spare for privacy if needed. The location of the home was terrific - short walk to the beach (it would be nice to have a beach chair or two; although there were a couple beach towels in each bedroom); so close to shops & restaurants on Coastal Village it was easy to walk or drive. And the drive to Santa Barbara is shorter than I expected. Everything was relatively close. I would rent this house in a heartbeat. It's nicely appointed and comfortable. Only downside was the TV remote was not easy to use; some of the accounts / apps did not work.

Beautiful, modern home in a quiet neighborhood within fabulous Montecito.

This home has been wonderfully modernized and is spectacular for indoor/outdoor life. It is located near Highway 101, but you cannot hear the freeway from the home or yard. The incredible kitchen is well appointed and perfectly designed for family & friends to gather. We definitely want to return!!!

Comfortable house in Montecito

We booked this home at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised. We travel often to the Santa Barbara area- at least five times a year- but normally stay in a hotel. The house is great: furnishings are new and beds and linens comfortable. The outdoor areas are the best thing about the house; we ate breakfast on the patio and enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire outside. The location can’t be beat-easy access to the 101, the beach, a bike ride to downtown SB, close to the lower village shops and restaurants- really convenient to everything we wanted.

Nice house, good location.

The house was very nice and essentially new. The location near the Beach and Biltmore are perfect. Unfortunately the technology was on the blink and not working properly. You need to have Sling and bring all your passwords! The other odd thing is that there is no door on the master bathroom!
