Excellent for enjoying the beach
The property was super cute and functional for the size, perfect place to walk to Belmont park and the surrounding area with your loved one. Parking does suck but doable with a little patience. It's definitely a bustling corner but once it was Netflix & chill time, you couldn't hear the nightlife. We would absolutely stay again!

Just what we wanted!
This place was a perfect location for us to walk anywhere we needed, bike rentals next door that we took all the way up to La Jolla. So many bars/restaurants and cool places to go. San Diego zoo not a far cab ride either. We loved it!! Definitely coming back.

We didn’t end up staying. After checking in, there was an interesting smell that we didn’t like. The TV remote didn’t really work and there were only a couple of channels. All of that coupled with the horrible parking situation and the questionable neighborhood made it so we didn’t want to stay, so we left after a couple of hours after check-in.

Here for work
Stayed here one week. Clean, very nice accommodations. I could hear the neighbors upstairs walking around and opening doors while I was trying to sleep but I turned on white noise and it tuned them out well. I would recommend staying here.

30th bday getaway!!
What an amazing stay we had for my 30th birthday! Very centralized location, so everything was easy to get to! Only one block walk from the beach!!! We had everytbing we needed for the week that we were in San Diego! Would definitely recommend this place to stay!!

Great location, great stay.
I came to Drew's place by myself and stayed for 4 days. Overall the place is great! Amazing location. Everything you would need is right there. The place was clean and comfortable. The only negative i would say is the walls are thin and you can hear the people upstairs walking around but I sleep like a rock and it didnt bother me.

Honeymoon Getaway
I rented this property for my daughter's honeymoon. Drew was fantastic to work with and was prompt with returning any correspondence. The property is in a great location. My 4 year old grandson and I had a lil vacation for a week here, and we both loved it. So close to all things fun! The place was clean, and modern. We parked our bikes on the patio, and parked our van in the nearby 24 hour lot. The area is loud and crowded in summer with all the fun, but knew that going in, and we both still slept well. We made great memories here, my grandson did not want to leave lol.

Middle of the action
This property is a great location if you plan to be out and about in Mission Beach. The location was great because it was across the street from the park, bay, Belmont, food, and the beach. This home is only a three minute walk to the beach. There was no designated parking spot so it’s great if you plan to walk or Uber. This home is small, and the couch was so small it was not able to accommodate our third person (child) as advertised so we brought a blowup mattress. Additionally, the owner emphasizes quiet hours, which is great however, the people in the upstairs unit had parties both of the nights that we were there (Wed and Thurs), so we did not get much sleep with the stomping and loud music all night. Lastly, when I reached out through the messaging feature of Vrbo to the property owners for support and basic communication they responded only once. For example, I reached out to clarify the address on check-in day and didn’t get a reply until the next day. Overall, great to be close to action but the lack of designated parking was a stress, the neighbors were so loud that we could not sleep, and the owners were not responsive to communication. I will go back to Mission Beach but not to this property.

This property is great if you don’t want to rent a car. It’s within walking distance of everything. It’s definitely small, but exactly as described. I also loved that they provided towels and beach toys. I would absolutely come back.

This place was small, but what are you doing inside? So much to see and do. Equal distance to ocean and bay. Walking, dining, rental (we rented a bike from Ray's) and close to park, I-8 etc. No parking, but we had no trouble moving car a couple of times a day. Would recommend to a friend.

Love this place!
This little home is too stinking cute and the location is amazing. It has everything you need. Want to get out and about? Starbucks is right next door. Want the ocean and beach? 2 minute walk. Great food? Right around the corner…literally everywhere!! Check in was easy peasy as was checking out. We will definitely come back here during our next vacation.

I really enjoyed our stay at this place. The place was clean and the owners were very responsive with your needs. The price was right and the place had everything you needed! I had my two teenage daughters and we did just fine. My one daughter had to sleep on the couch but she said it was super comfy. It was super safe and super clean and the location was excellent. There really was no parking but we managed. The owners were fantastic with great communication! Everything was supplied so no need to pack hair dryer or straightener. There was access to boogie boards and sand toys. We loved it!! Thank you!!

Stayed for a week. Close to zoo, Safari and Coronado. Walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Street is noisy day and night b/c only way in and out of peninsula. Parking can be an issue but working it out w/ other tenants made it easy. Communication with Drew was great and he was very accommodating.

It was the point meaning just a stay close to everything. Nothing to fancy a place to sleep shower and change clothes. A cool little patio to sit and some drinks. Clean for sure. I have nothing bad to say about it. The free parking up the street was 5 mins. So just pull in the front unload then go park

We had a great time here! We didn’t need a car at all. It’s about 15-20 minutes from the airport and everything else we needed was walkable or a short Lyft ride away. The Now Cafe next door has coffee and açaí bowls. We went over every morning for breakfast! The beach is less than a 5 minute walk. We were also very happy with our communication with the host when we asked last minute to checkout a little later. We would love to come back to one of his properties again!

Perfect little getaway
2 adults, 6 year old and 8 month old fit comfortably. So close to the beach that I could walk back to change and feed the baby so I didn’t have to lug a bunch of extra stuff to the beach. Parking was not bad if you moved the car in the morning to the Belmont parking lot. Then at night we got lucky with street parking right out front. Location alone makes this a great place but it is not quiet. We didn’t mind as the 1am-9am hours were pretty quiet. Had a double booking mix up that was addressed right away. We are definitely going to stay here again based on the location. Probably mid week as I imagine it will be very busy in the summer months.

Better than described!
My wife and I stayed 2 nights, 3 days for her birthday the week after July 4th holiday. In addition to standard concerns (check-in, accessibility, etc) being a *breeze*, the neighbors were nice, the appliances were new and the owners provided plenty of nice extras like spices, shampoo, aloe vera gel, coffee filters (bring your own coffee) -- how thoughtful! In addition, I was in contact with Drew before and during stay (b/c I am an over-thinker) and he was super nice and responsive. We experienced zero issues at all. We were able to nicely talk to neighbors about sharing one of the tandem parking spaces, which was soooooo helpful. We are locals but could not have asked for a better staycation for the money. Make sure to throw out your trash and follow the other rules on the sheet on the door. If you do, you'll have a great stay. Thanks Mango Tango crew! -Janine

This place is exactly as represented by the owner. It was the perfect size for my wife and I. We didn't rent, or need, a car. $20 ride share ride to and from the airport, $15 dollar ride to the Gaslamp Quarter for dinner one night, but everything you need is really right in Mission Beach. Our goal was beach and sun, and this place delivered in a big way. The location is a two minute walk east to the bay or west to the ocean. A minute of that is waiting at a crosswalk. Mission Beach and Mission Bay are awesome for walking, swimming or laying in the sun. Belmont amusement park is also a block away. The owner was very helpful and made sure we had all the information to make check-in and out easy. I highly recommend this place for a couple looking for a nice getaway.

Convenient location for access to outdoor activity
Place was comfy and in close proximity to bay and beach and tourist activity. Set on a busy street and surrounded by college students during spring break, it was a loud, lively spot--less a getaway and more a "get into". If you want quiet and serenity, this is probably not the place for you; if you want great access to the beach and being active, this is probably an awesome place for you.

Convenient to the Beach
Space is good for two people, more than that would be a little cramped. Just about a block away from the beach. No living room, per se and a small two seat table in the kitchen. TV is in bedroom only. Parking is about a block and a half away in a public lot. If you leave and come back during the busy beach hours, you may not be able to find a parking spot. Starbucks, Subway, Grilled Cheese Sandwich shop, Mexican food and a little café were all super close. Overall it was a good place for us and it was nice being so close to the beach.
