My room was near the elevator. Other than that, almost everything else was not ideal. The service was bad because they were busy. There was a long line to check in, it was so noisy I voukd barely hear the employee checking me in, its really sketchy outside and around the hotel...just not interested in coming back.

The staff at this property are top notch. From the valet staff, front desk staff, and restaurant staff the service is lovely. I'm not certain how often they conduct PMs on air systems etc. The only miss I noticed is that the exhaust fan in the bathroom could use attention. Beyond that everything else was great.

Liked the historic bldg. Did not like the small size of the room, it was a challenge getting in and out of the king size bed without hitting the walls. did not like the shortage of night tables next to the bed. did not like not having access to the upper floors for viewing purposes. did not like not being able to get a detailed invoice at check out. staff said they could not provide, that i have to contact you. that's terrible customer service........

Amazing hotel!!!! However we were in room 310, and right outside there is a nightclub and traffic light. We had zero sleep until 3:40am. Extremely loud outside even bring up on the 3rd floor.

The property is downtown Sac with a lot of homeless people around the neighborhood. I traveled alone (female) I didn’t feel comfortable walking in the neighborhood alone. The hotel is very historic with rich history.

The hotel is right across from a pretty gnarly park and over all the rooms are really loud if you are facing Jay or 10th street since there is a night club there as well.

Let them know if you are not going to Valet!
The hotel itself idle fine and there were no issues with the actual room, but I was charged for valet parking and I never parked a car with the hotel or had any conversations with anyone about parking my car.
